My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A Canuck Abroad interested in meeting new companions for weekend adventures.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a girl with a thousand interests. I can't help it - the world is an intriguing place and there are so many exciting things to try. Past examples include rock climbing, scuba diving, dog-sledding and ballroom dancing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Painting watercolours and not taking myself too seriously (nor should you)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Since moving to the States, people mention my accent a lot. I don't hear it myself. I am tempted to fake it and say I'm from Seattle to see if people still think I sound Canadian.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I am obsessed with British comedy and well-crafted beer. I am also a music junkie. I don't discriminate - so if you tell me your favorite artist, I will check them out. You just never know what you will like. I love to listen to music on my long runs and can occasionally be spotted air-drumming as I run (it's involuntary - a great bit of percussion needs to be celebrated).

I listen to a huge variety of music so I won't list it all here. Artists getting a lot of air time currently: Ben Harper, Mark Lanegan, Pendulum and Apocalyptica.

Favourite Movies include Hot Fuzz, Paris Je T'aime, Terminator 2 and The English Patient. Eclectic, I know.

I rarely read the same thing twice with the exception of the works of Shakespeare and Michael Ondaatje. Wordsmiths, both of them. I will linger over a beautifully crafted sentence.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laughter, Kindness, Fresh Produce, Naps, Challenges, Nature
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to live my best life
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I have no typical Friday nights. I work hard during the week so I try and take full advantage of the weekends and maximize my fun. How I spend my time varies a lot - I am never bored! I like to get out and socialize as much as possible on the weekends.
