My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I may look extremely disheveled, but it's better than how I look sheveled. There is not a woman living who would want me without long hair. Also, as you can likely tell from any and all pictures I put up, my hair is fighting a war against growing out of my scalp, and is winning. I am a gigantic nerd. I have sex on my mind all the time: if I tell you that I don't, I'm lying.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Knowing random, utterly meaningless facts- for example, and without any looking up involved, the largest non-nuclear accidental explosion in human history was the 1917 Halifax disaster (a boat full of WW1-bound munitions... ON FIRE), and the only American president to also be the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was William Howard Taft (not just known for getting stuck in the tub)

Using inordinately big words, like inordinately.

Being awkward.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The fact that I'm very tall, then my deep, sultry voice (lllllllllllllllllllladies), and then my awkward manner.

Also, I have a habit of accidentally sneaking up on people. I have no idea how this happens; I'm a good half foot taller than the average person, you'd think that I would stick out in a crowd? Maybe I'm just quiet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Everything in here will have a bit of 'And thanks to anyone else I didn't mention in my acceptance speech' to them; just ask, and I'll let you know. A Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings, almost anything Christopher Hitchens has ever written, ditto anything Sam Harris has ever written, the Foundation series, I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, any hard-ish sci-fi, etc.

Movies: Many. Far too many. The Rifftrax dub of Twilight is one of the funniest movie experiences you will ever have. Oh, specifics? Everything by Mel Brooks I've ever seen (Blazing Saddles, of course, being the best), Lord of the Rings (again), any and all Bond movies (yes, even Moonraker. Especially Moonraker), The Seventh Seal (for my money, the most accessible and interesting 'art house' film ever made), Drive (A movie I love far too much), Inglorious Basterds, The Fifth Element, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and more!

Shows: Shoo, network tv! Heroes (more for the lulz at the end), Burn Notice, Game of Thrones, and dozens of others that people have told me to watch, but I haven't gotten around to yet.

Music: Mastodon, Nachtmystium, Meshuggah, Gojira, The Ocean, TesseracT, Iron Maiden, Ghost, Cormorant, Hammers of Misfortune, Ludicra, Baroness, Metallica, Slayer (I am the most chill Slayer fan you will ever meet. Ever.), Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Them Crooked Vultures (Josh Homme hat trick!), Sleep (I like my music a little absurd. Sleep made an hour long song/album that mixes Exodus with smoking weed. It is the most insane thing you will hear outside of things made by insane people), High on Fire, Dream Theater, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Isis, The Mars Volta (did I mention I like my music absurd? The kiosk in my temporal lobe is shaped like Rosalynn Carter!), Journey (that's fucking right, I said Journey. Don't stop believing.)

Food: All the food, everywhere. I don't like (and don't dislike) strong cheese on its own, and that's about it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Interesting company.
The Internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future of society, religion, philosophy, determinism, insane Republicans, video games, sex, and that's what's on my mind currently
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not doing a damn thing. Because I am a loser.

Optimally, going somewhere with people who I'd like to spend time with; place and thing being done have very little impact. Though I would like adventures.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an Eagle Scout. And have an encyclopedic knowledge of Bond movies.
