My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The name's Joseph, but feel free to call me Joe. I'm a SoCal native who's been fortunate enough to travel outside the bubble on occasion. My last trip took me to a Pacific archipelago where I was exposed to motorized scooter merging, native wedding customs and awkward requests to have my picture taken (hint: the natives love us boule). But who doesn't love a good adventure...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I live in a beach community and work in the affordable housing real estate development industry. My interest lies in issues and activism pertaining to urban planning and social justice.

On the weekends I wander about town in search of yelp-approved restaurants, play in a co-ed soccer league, and every now and then go for romps out in the wilderness.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Frankly, we could all probably do without a majority of our 'things' save for air, water, food, clothing and shelter (and perhaps sex but I suppose that's not a 'thing')... So instead I've listed six 'experiences' from an SF road trip I took a few years back.

1. Splurging at a roadside farm stand and the car picnic that followed.
2. Stumbling upon the golden-gate park flower garden during a crisp morning jog.
3. Having a cold one while rooftop bbqing in lower haight.
4. The feeling of childhood accomplishment after finally lobbing an old pair of kicks over a telephone line.
5. Getting mildly besoffen with old chums, and then recanting about it the following morning (included talk of the missing kicks).
6. Savoring a pour over brewed coffee with a freshly baked slice of cinnamon raisin bread.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
self improvement of my external and internal environments. I'm a subscriber to The Art of Manliness.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
No one's perfect (myself especially), but these are traits that I keep an eye out for...

-Confidence, kindness, and humility;
-Being physically active;
-Educated, career driven and passionate for what you do;
-A love for the great outdoors;
-Enthusiasm to share the occasional bottle of pino noir;

Traits I avoid:
-Dogmatic beliefs unsupported by scientific observation;
-Lack of compassion;
-An over-emphasis on material possessions;

If you think we'd have plenty to talk about based on what you've read so far, drop me a line or feel free to give me a like.

P.S. I prefer to message women when its a mutual match. I find it saves time for both parties.
