I am able to do something I love for a living. I live in the east village and have lived in the same apartment for going on 13 years. I have a huge backyard that I planted almost everything in, I love to garden and have been working on the edible stuffs lately but I think they are going to need another year before they will be producing. As most people in NY seem to, I love getting to see new and exciting parts of this city. I just went to a bbq on City Island that was real cool. There
is so much to do in NYC it makes you always feel like a kid with
new stuff to check out.

I am a commerical photographer for my job, I have a couple niches that I make a living with, I mostly shoot Architecture and interiors for interiors designers, architects and magazines. I also have my own "Art" projects which include photography, painting and sound collecting.

I am a great editor, of anything coming from other people, not my own stuff. I am a maximalist which is tough in NYC. I have a pretty good book collection going, and art collection. Before that I collected orchids. I had over 300 species. Before that I collected tropical fish, I had 30 fish tanks in my apartment. I used to go skin diving to find species I was missing. Then one day I said FUCK FISH. Since then I haven't so much as stuck a toe in that ocean, and I love the ocean. Thats how committed I was to Fuck Fish. Before that my mother and I had the largest collection of 17th century dutch mirrors in the world, I collected the shit out of them.

(not all of this is true) but the idea is right.

I just started this david hockney interview book. and the new Thomas Frank book. I am into this new daytime disco band called poolside they did a cool cover of neil young's harvest moon. I just saw the girl with the dragon tattoo, I thought that was a young adult book series for teenage girls, I guess i was wrong...

I think about getting older in NY, its a strange place to live, you're an adult but not a full adult usually. Its easy to be slightly a kid here.

Are the images of the galaxy on Nova, from real pictures or from computer special effects? Why are the programs on Natural Geographic channel so obsessed with black holes, asteroids and supernovas?
