After losing my way across star riddled skies, I'm gently reminded that life is unkind at the best of times. If pain is just a rational option, beauty and pleasure will lose me again and again.
Let's go with that intro.
What I’m doing with my life
Work for an angel investment group that funds startups. I get to evaluate cool, exciting, amazing new ideas and companies almost daily so my life is a lot about that... Discovery, surprise, excitement every day.
That does a pretty good job of defining me actually. I find beauty and value in small, sometimes really simple things.
Finished grad school (finally), started a company and gave back the founding shares on basic principle. Been advising for startups for four years tuning their business plans, building their financials, and getting them funded. I love what I do.
I’m really good at
Finding value in things too simple to explain. Enjoying that fantastic hint of profanity in a beautiful woman's expression.
Getting things done
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and my smile? That I'm very comfortable in my own skin? Laid back and easy to get along with has been very kind feedback.
Have a tiny accent I'm debating whether to work on or not. Was revealed to me that it's because of my "S"... Fascinating stuff.

The six things I could never do without
My best friend
A beautiful smile
Lots of sunshine in the mornings
Exploration and discovery
Why stop at six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Rising tides. If you observe carefully, everything has a rhythm. You can paddle out there, catch that swell, ride that wave.
Value, how people perceive it, how to add it. How to become valuable to different stakeholders. This is very much on my radar.
On a typical Friday night I am
It really varies, going to that new awesome place I just found out
about, planning an awesome weekend in Portland or Vancouver BC, at
a live show... Anywhere new and exciting. Hopefully in the company
of someone really, really sweet I already know or that I would very
much like to.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not a jealous guy, and I don't do well with the you are mine thing.
My heart regenerates. Hmmm, maybe that's my super power. Im good for regeneration.
You should message me if
You're incredibly sweet or incredibly passionate or both!
