My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
FAIR WARNING: I ONLY answer emails from LOCAL people who I have an actual interest in. If you live outside the Phoenix Metro area or you are too lazy to bother writing a complete sentence to introduce yourself (you would not believe the number of emails I have seen that consist of "hey", "what's up", "hi beautiful" or some other waste of space. Don't be that guy!), you will be ignored or blocked. SO, IF YOU ENJOY BEING ON PEOPLE'S BLOCK LISTS, FEEL FREE TO WRITE TO ME FROM SOMEPLACE NOT LOCAL TO ME, AND YOU'LL CERTAINLY GET ADDED TO MINE. I'm spelling it out for you here in my profile, writing to me like that just tells me you didn't bother to read it.
I am interested in people's MINDS over pretty much everything else, so sending a lame email is just a quick way to be ignored. I am also very unlikely to reply if you have no picture up, unless you explain WHY you don't have one up and offer to send one right away. You can see me, I expect to see you, too.
Okay, enough of that, here is my actual profile:

Hi! I live in Phoenix, AZ. I read a lot, enjoy movies, learning just about anything new, and having deep conversations. I also have a strong sensual/sexual side--but the intellect has to be stimulated before the body gets involved at this point...

Yes--I am "fuller-figured"/a BBW. If that is a problem for you, then so be it. It's not a problem for me and I am pretty comfortable in my own skin. I know that bigger gals aren't for everyone, but I think I have a lot to offer to those who don't have a problem with it. :)

I am looking to meet people who maybe share some of the same interests. (A few of mine: books/reading, movies, science-fiction/fantasy, spirituality, the Law of Attraction, self-help, new age, animals (especially cats), pottery/ceramics, crafts, chain maille jewelry, science, learning about pretty much anything...)

What my main goal is in being here is to be able to meet other people who, like me, are: introverted, introspective, deep-thinking, open-minded, and at least a bit geeky/nerdy. I'm not great at meeting people in the "usual" ways (bars, parties, etc.) and I doubt that I would find too many people of my "type" that way, anyway. I am hoping that a few meaningful friendships and/or relationships may come from me spending some time here.

I am not currently looking for anything serious. If I see that you are I usually won't write you back--it's a waste of everyone's time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to decide if I want to go back for more college (I recently finished my first degree) or just stay in the world of work for now. I also am working on some entrepreneurial endeavors--hopefully those will go in the right direction at some point soon :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning. I learn very quickly. I usually grasp things right away. It does actually intimidate some people, I believe. *shrug* If you aren't into intelligence I am not for you, anyway!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love to read and watch movies, so the lists for both of those are really, really long. My absolute faves are always sci-fi/fantasy stuff.

A few good book examples: Orson Scott Card, "Ender's Game" and many of his other works; JK Rowling, "Harry Potter" (all of them); Anne Bishop, "The Black Jewels trilogy"; Robert Heinlein, "Stranger in a Strange Land"; Anne McCaffrey, many of the "Pern" books and many of her other series also (like, "The Rowan")
(I could go on for days...)
I also tend to read self improvement and success books, and am often reading "new age" stuff, as well.

Movie examples (in no particular order) : A bunch of the super-hero flicks that have come out in the past few years (ask me ;), Fight Club, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Sixth Sense, the LoTR trilogy, The Matrix trilogy, all of the Star Wars movies, Serenity, the X-Men movies, The Butterfly Effect, all of the Harry Potter movies, Bad(der)Santa, Jerry Maguire, Constantine, What Dreams May Come, Alien vs Predator (in fact, most of the Alien and/or Predator ones), the Star Trek movies (most of them), Shrek, Wall-E, the Transformer movies, the Die Hard movies, 50 First Dates, The Last Samurai, The Devil's Advocate, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Bone Collector, Seven, the Hannibal Lecter movies, Instinct, the Lara Croft/Tomb Raider movies, the Indiana Jones movies, K-Pax, Dances With Wolves (these are just a few that I've enjoyed--again, a comprehensive list would be very, very long. And yes, my interests run all over the place ;) You can almost guarantee I will like a movie if it is well done in the sci-fi, fantasy, serial killer, action (with half a brain), spiritual, or makes-you-think genres. You should see my Netflix lists ;)

Favorite TV show EVER: Firefly! Favorite current TV show: Game of Thrones. I love the sci-fi and fantasy genres, but I also enjoy a good drama. Smart TV shows always appeal. I am mostly a binge watcher these days--I don't own a TV, I always stream shows off the internet.

I like a variety of music, but I don't have a strong passion for certain bands like some folks do. I DON'T like country, most rap, and heavy metal music--I'll listen to most anything else. I tend to like lighter rock in the car. I am a BIG fan of live jazz music if I ever get the chance to go. I know the words to more oldies than your parents or grandparents do. I have actually PLAYED Jazz, concert, and marching band music (saxophone) in my past. I love classical and big-band, as well (am I a nerd, or what? lol ;)

I am very into trying out all kinds of foods--I'm always game to try ethnic foods I've never sampled. I already love Thai, Greek, Middle Eastern, Caribbean, Cambodian, Italian and Mexican foods. I adore finding great hole-in-the-wall places that serve yummy food--if you have suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em ;)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(well, at least never WANT to live without...) my cats, at least one really close friend, good books, indoor plumbing, interesting conversations, and the chance to make life better
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
*making money

*how to improve myself (how to reach more fully my potential)

*expanding my understandings of the mysteries of life (especially "God"/the universe)

*how to make life work/be happy

*other people--what makes them think/behave/etc the ways they do

*how cute my cats can be

*all kinds of stuff (I have been accused of thinking TOO MUCH)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am pretty much an open book. If you want to know more about me, I have answered a TON of match questions publically--so you can check those out and/or feel free to ask!
