I love my life, work, family and friends! I have a playful, energetic and romantic nature as well as an intense passion for learning and growing. I am generally optimistic, look for the best in people, and love to laugh and have great conversations about things that really matter.

Some of my favorite things include cooking, comedy clubs, kayaking, live music, slow and fast dancing, walking, jogging, rollerblading, picnics, nature, movies, reading, teamwork and affection.

I'm attracted to intelligent, thoughtful men who are comfortable being social as well as alone, are not threatened by an intellectual, independent woman and feel as good dressing up in professional clothes as in jeans and a t-shirt. A man who is focused and purposeful in his life is the sexiest kind of man to me!

I own my own business. I'm an award-winning trainer, coach, consultant and writer. I spend time with my children (4 are grown and married and 1 is a 15 year old daughter I have 1/2 time) and friends. I enjoy being with people and time alone too. I consider myself a simple soul in many ways.

…are that I'm open, friendly and like to learn about others, what makes them tick and what makes people feel happy and their best self. They notice that I'm a little more interested than most in going inward and thinking about things that are not simply about what's happening at the surface.

My favorite books range from non-fiction (A Thousand Splendid Suns), fiction (romance and thrillers), psychology (Receiving Love by Harville Hendrix, Loving What is by Byron Katie) business (Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh and Getting Naked by Patrick Lencione). Some of my favorite movies are Dangerous Beauty, Buck, Legend of Bagger Vance, How do You Know? Stranger then Fiction - I like a wide range). I love listening to live bands, dub step, current music (Adele, Adam Lambert, etc) and some of the classic oldies. I like almost all food and especially desserts (unfortunately!) :0)
