I am comfortable, active, and geeky.

My Self-Summary

I'm a consultant living in Lake Bluff. I have a lot of free time since I moved closer to work, and spend it doing physical things like tumbling, working out, juggling, and the like. I recently got back into swing dancing, and go down to Chicago at least once a week. I'm a Leo, my ring finger is longer than my index finger, I like going barefoot, and I'm not afraid to try new foods. I'm loyal to a fault, but take a loooong time to make friends. I'm just learning how to cook for myself, since my diet is changing a lot from what my parents used to serve me.

I'm highly entertained by other people's hobbies. If someone is passionate, I tend to get drawn in. That's part of how I got into dancing.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm thinking of going back to school. My coworkers and boss are encouraging me to get my MBA at one of the local universities, and I'm thinking of taking them up on that. I guess I want to get some more work experience and eventually move back to Madison. I really do like it up there now.

I’m really good at

Analyzing physical movements. I know, I know, it's kind of weird. But I have an easy time spotting movement patterns in acrobatics, juggling, dancing, and many of my other hobbies.

Of course, I can also estimate the divisions of a mean check. There, now I've been both serious and joking.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite book is whatever I'm reading. Right now it is the Devil in the White City. I love Office Space and Zombieland. I listen to pop radio stations. And I eat things that look good.

The six things I could never do without

1. Someone with whom to talk
2. A place to exercise
3. A social hobby
4. A bathroom with a door
5. Foods I want to eat
6. Car. It seems like everywhere I want to be is an hour away. Except work, which I don't particularly want to be at anyway.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I want in life. I've been moving every couple years since I got out of college, 4 times in 5 years. I am trying to figure out what I want now that I seem to have gotten my wanderlust out of my system.

Other thoughts of the morning: Dreams of Space Monkeys, Serial Killer Psychopaths, Bon Jovi, CDW, Leaves, Soup. That's pretty representative, I think.

On a typical Friday night I am

Headed to visit friends in other cities. Madison, Toledo, St. Louis, Minneapolis... But I'm really trying to get into life around here. Lake Bluff feels more like a stopping point for me, more than a destination. I'm trying to change that.

You should message me if

If you want to learn to dance. If you don't mind my ridiculous stories that usually have ridiculous endings. If you don't mind repetitious sentence structure. If, and this is a big if, you can stomach when I do things that are not of a previously defined pattern. And that's all I have to say about that. Unless you message me. But then I'll probably say more about something else.
