My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If your glass isn't at least half full, maybe it's time to get a smaller glass? I try to see the good in every situation.

I love movies - from old 30's and 40's B&W, to today's soon to be classics. Great movies are magical things.

Music is another passion. I like to listen to lots of different types: classical, rock, blues...even some rap. (I had to take a class before I learned to like hip hop and rap. I think the more you learn about something, the more you're able to appreciate it.) I love Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky, The Beatles, Zeppelin, The Who, ELP, David Bowie, NIN, The Monkees, Hendrix, Cream, Clapton, Elvis Costello, Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, BB King, Missy Elliott...the list is much longer, but hopefully you recognize some of those. :)

I love art as well. I took a trip to Paris in 2012, mainly to see the museums. And to practice my woefully inadequate French. And yes, the people were nice, and the city was clean. I've been wanting to go since I was 13. I finally made it, and it was worth the wait! The Louvre took 3 days, but I saw everything I wanted to see. It was breathtaking, along with all of the other sites I was fortunate enough to visit.

Great (and not so great) literature is another love. I've enjoyed reading since I was a little girl. It opens up so many worlds. I read mostly fiction, but I will occasionally read some non-fiction that catches my eye. Spending time browsing the shelves in a nice bookstore is one of my favorite things to do.

You should enjoy some of the things I do, but also have other interests. Learning about another person's interests is fun, don't you think?

I'm not really into watching sports, but if you want to (and it's not 24/7), that's ok, too. Gives me time to read, or go out with my friends.

Thanks for checking out my profile!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, playing, reading, trying to see the good in life's little rainstorms.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at seeing the big picture, connecting the dots, coloring inside the lines. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile. I love to smile, and laugh. It does a body good!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Fiction, usually, although I've been known to read non-fiction as well. I like fantasy, science fiction, Shakespeare's sonnets, historical fiction. Way too many authors to list!

Movies: Lots of favorites, from B&W 30's and 40's, to today's classics. I love comedies, science fiction, horror (not the gory stuff!).

Music: Almost everything! I moved from the Partridge Family to Led Zeppelin pretty quickly, if that helps. My least favorite is country, unless it's Johnny Cash doing NIN's Hurt, or Willie.

Food: Very few dislikes here....beets come to mind. And sushi.

What I'd like to accomplish, how beautiful (and ugly) the world can be, how to turn mistakes into learning experiences.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Gearing down from the work week, watching a movie, catching dinner with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have ugly feet.
