I am a liberal person, though not a "liberal" whatsoever, and I consider myself a feminist, in favor gay rights, in favor of civil rights, and I consider myself as having a conscientious worldview (though I am not an activist). What I don't know I don't pretend to know, but I am opinionated. Don't think that because I identify myself with these things, and that I'm willing to admit it openly, it means that I am some serious person. I love to laugh and make jokes and I am the definition of a "realest" (unless it serves me to argue idealistically).

I stay active and play a ton of basketball (a constant in my life), and I have a good stable of friends in the city.
*Currently working on a screenplay with a writing partner and have been writing my own blog about film (julesneumanonfilm.wordpress.com)
Movies: Again way too many to name. Here's 5: Night of the Hunter, Psycho, Pulp Fiction, Tokyo Story, Naked Kiss, and here are the movies from this year that I thought were the best: The Master, Django Unchained, Zero Dark Thirty, and to a lesser extent, Lincoln and Flight.
TV: I don't have many contemporary shows I can list that I watch. Mad Men is fun, but I wouldn't say earth shattering. Here's a list of my favorite shows, or some of them: Seinfeld, Curb, Chappelle Show, The Simpsons (though really only seasons 4-8 or so), The Kingdom, Twin Peaks, Ricky Gervais' The Office and Extras, Roseanne, I Love Lucy and many, many other sitcoms, The Wire (though I have my issues with the show and the last season plain stunk), Colbert Report & Daily Show, Oz....running out of shows, for now, but that's the gist.
Music: My music taste varies often, so to make it easy (and because a lot of people care very much about music taste on here), here is every artist that appears on my ipod right now: Aaliyah, Adina Howard, The Allman Brothers, Ashanti, Babes in Toyland, Backstreet Boys, The Band, Beach Boys, Beat Happening, The Beatles, Belle and Sebastian, Beyonce, Big Bang (K-Pop), Bikini Kill, Billy Joel, Blackstreet, Blaque, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Bone Thugs, Boyz II Men, Brandy (& Monica), Bratmobile, Britney Spears, The Cardigans, Carl Thomas, Case, Cat Stevens, The Cranberries, Creedence, D'Angelo, Destiny's Child, The Distillers, Donell Jones, The Doors, Eric Clapton, Everclear, Feist, Fiona Apple, Fleetwood Mac, Garbage, Ginuwine, Grateful Dead, Green Day, Harry Belafonte, Hole, Jackson 5, Jaheim, James Taylor, Janet Jackson, Jefferson Airplane, Hendrix, Joe, John Denver, John Lennon, John Mellencmap, Johnny Cash, Keith Sweat, The Kinks, Korn, L7, Lana Del Rey, Led Zeppelin, Lee Ann Womack, Len, Lil Wayne (& T-Payne), Lit, Liz Phair, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mad Lion, Mariah Carey, Mario, Mary J Blige, Mary Jane Girls, Michael Jackson, Michele Branch, Modest Mouse, Mona Lisa, Montell Jordan, MOP, Musiq Soulchild, Mya, Natalie Imbruglia, Neil Young, Next, Nirvana, Notorious BIG, Oasis, Orleans, Otis Redding, Patti Smith, WINGS, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Pixies, Queen, R Kelly, Radiohead, Robin S., Rolling Stones, Sam Cooke, Scott McKenzie, Smashing Pumpkins, Soul for Real, Soul II Soul, Sparta, Steely Dan, Sublime, Talking Heads, Tatayana Ali, The Temptations, TLC, Tom Petty, Total, Tyrese, Usher, Weezer, The Who, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, 2 Pac, 3LW
Bonus: If anyone out there knows Maria Bamford's "The Special Special Special!" comedy special, and more importantly loved it, then we are a great match for that reason alone.
