My self-summary
Got my heart broken and put it back together as best as I could and here I am. I promise the bits and pieces in place are some of the more important ones and the ones missing, well, I am planning on growing those with the help of one funny and silly, and hopefully adventurous woman who does not take life too seriously. Someone without much to any emotional baggage. I believe there's still magic out there and I'd like to find someone who believes the same thing.
What I’m doing with my life
I shape the minds of the future... aka I'm a private tutor.

In the middle of reinventing myself.
I’m really good at
Making kids laugh.
Being clumsy.
Riding my bike.
Spelling words phonetically.
eating Cereal... though with this whole Monsanto stuff going around I'm really starting to cut back (about 1 box a week)
Listening to people.
Boxing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
IF YOU LIKE A TRIBE CALLED QUEST AND THE PHARCYDE, CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME MIX BY GUMMY SOUL BLENDING THE 2 TOGETHER. SOOOOO GOOD. (hmm I wonder what happened to the link)

I always have my nose in a book. Any book. I am fascinated by stories and the power of words. Just finished "Warm Bodies" by Isaac Marion, a young adult literary work where the lead romantic character is a zombie. I'll never see zombies the same way.

About to start "Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. His "Neon Bible" made me revisit Arcade Fire's album by the same eponymous name looking for signs of guided inspiration, but according to the lead singer theirs is a completely separate artistic endeavor. I still have my doubts tho.

"The Stand" by Stephen King is still my favorite of all-time and it's to this day the scariest book I've ever read.

Oh, and let me highly recommend "I, Lucifer" by Glen Duncan. If you love dry wit and sarcasm then this is the book for you.

I also like graphic novels like "THE DEATH RAY" by Daniel Clowes (you know, Ghost World writer)
Music?

Bright Eyes. 2pac. Cursive. Arcade Fire. Pink Floyd. The XX. Biggie. Mos Def. Two Gallants. Cat Power. Del the Funky Homosapien. The Black Keys. Future islands. Toots and Maytals. Lauryn Hill. The Good Life. Beirut. M83. The Strokes. The Smiths. New Order. The Jesus and Mary Chain.
Broadcast. Radiohead. The Rolling Stones. Modest Mouse (old stuff mainly) T.I.

You get the idea.

My all-time favorite movie is A Bronx Tale.

Art? Check these hyperrealists:

Art that's so real you will swear it has to be a photograph of some sort.
The six things I could never do without
Family and friends are a given so I'll start with:

!. My imagination
2. my ipod
3. my bicycle
4. foooooood. all of it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Stars. The Drake Equation. Old Civilizations and why they seemingly disappeared. Why it took us so long to find the bodies of the Easter Island Heads. Egypt. People/Humanity in general. How to make this world a better place.

Lately I've been spending copious amounts of time drawing and creating "mixtapes", cep 'cept they're not on tapes but rather on cds and giving them to friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Derfinitely not at a typical friday night hangout spot, like a bar, and more than likely riding my bicycle through any given part of the city with friends hauling huge soundbikes blasting music, reclaiming public space and dancing in it. Midnight trips to the beach and bonfires bonfires bonfires!!
