Yes, I AM one of those guys that actually is kind, caring and compassionate; or at least so I am told by friends. I am also quite passionate about life and look to live each day to the fullest. As Tim McGraw said, I believe in "live like you were dying," since I never know when my time will be up. Just as I am passionate about living, I am equally passionate about loving my lady mentally and spiritually as well as physically.

I'm currently in the process of finishing up my MA in Mental Health Counseling. I thought it'd be nice to finally get the degree to go with the work I've been doing for years in one form or fashion.

I'm looking for a long-term relationship with that oh so very special woman who makes me stop in my tracks when I see her, makes my blood pressure rise delightfully when I'm with her and treats me as her king as I treat her as my queen, my Lady Guenivere.

Right now I'm semi-retired - if you can call being a full-time graduate student a form of retirement. I am a committed lifelong learner that also enjoys the beach, local and state-wide travel, playing golf, cooking, and sitting quietly with my special lady. I also enjoy eating out, going for walks, bicycle riding,watching old movies, going to flea markets, and generally doing just about anything as long as it involves being with my special someone.

I'm look for ways to be of service to others as I have the interest and ability and would like my life-partner to be there with me as I do it if possible. Just as another way of being of service; I am currently growing my hair out for Locks of Love. It'll be another year or so until it's long enough but it sure is interesting having long hair.

Writing poetry, bicycling, helping others, and providing service when and where I can. I can do most mechanical things when necessary as long as I have the instructions, read them and take my time. Mechanical things are not my first love.

I try very hard to be a good and involved listener. I let people deal with their own issues and get involved only when asked. I am not demanding or feeling as if I have to be in control. I am considered a gentleman by the ladies and a trusted friend by guys. I believe that the Creator put us all here for a purpose even if at times I have no inkling as to what that may be, so I simply try to do my best each day and pray that it's his will not mine that's in charge.

A generally cheerful attitude, openness and frankness about what I think, feel, and do.

Favorite books include Dennis Schmidt's Wayfarer series, all of the W.E.B. Griffins books, Og Mondino's as well as numerous writings by the Dalai Lama.

My favorite movies include Sweet Home Alabama, Mulan, Charge of the Light Brigade (Errol Flynn version), Grease and Grease II, and Avatar.

I like Country music along with 60's - 70's oldies

Italian, Mexican, Chinese and Japanese foods really get me going.

Coffee, Ice Cream, Tobacco, Books, a loving lady, caring friends

What I am going to do with my graduate degree, where I'll set up my practice and how I can help the most people for the least cost to them.

I wonder at the fate of the world today and what role I can play in improving it if possible - at least for a few folks
