too much to put here so I'll only put SOME favorites in every
category
Books: 1984, The Giver, The Count of Monte Cristo, any Carl Jung,
any Joseph Campbell but The Power of Metaphors is my favorite, any
psych-related in general besides Jung, any physics-related in
general, Pride and Prejudice (probably the girliest thing you will
find out about me), random multi-cultural reads, palahniuk but he
sucks lately..honestly, I've been having trouble finding good
fiction anymore : (
----really I'm kind of addicted to books and can't go into a book
store without buying a pile of random used books and devouring
them------
Shows: It's always sunny in philadelphia, the walking dead,
american dad, snl, Supernatural, True Blood, Better off Ted,
Portlandia, Community, Arrested Development, Adventure Time, Ugly
americans, Dexter, 30 Rock, The Colbert Report/Daily show, random
anime'
---right now, I am finally attempting Game of Thrones
Music: Any bluesy classic rock and/or hard rock, led zeppelin, the
rolling stones, CCR, Jimi Hendrix, The Black Keys, The Who, Eric
Clapton, TOOL, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday,
Santana, Lynryd Skynyrd, Esperanza Spalding, Florence and the
Machine, Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap, Gorillaz, Immortal technique,
Muse, Neil Young, Queen, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Pierce the Veil,
Tom Petty, Van Morrison...I'm going to stop now...this will never
end...lately went back into a huge jazz phase...especially Charles
Mingus and Duke Ellington...and for some reason a little bit of
Weezer here and there
Movies: Anything from Shawshank Redemption to Memento to
Zoolander....to The Big Lebowski...to IP man....I don't know, this
list would be pretty long. I'm not big on romantic comedies unless
it has Will Ferrall or someone in it. I love Jason Statham but
probably because I "love" him a little too much. I love kung fu,
action, thriller, psychological thriller, comedies etc. There are
randoms that fit in other categories but these are my
favorites.
There are certain movies like The Big Lebowski and Office Space
which I could probably watch a million times. I'll just list the
latest ones I've enjoyed: Djanjo, Jesus Henry Christ, Charlie
Barlett...movies have kind of sucked lately otherwise.
Would prefer a Star Wars geek over a Trek geek anyday : )
Food: Homemade Lasagna is my absolute favorite. In general I love
Italian and Mexican based-food the best although I do enjoy Spanish
cuisine or sushi every once in awhile.
