My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Featherless biped seeks companion for life's adventures.

I am a rather simple guy in most respects. I like to eat and be outside. I like music and laughing about whatever. I want to learn Gaelic but can't seem to find the time. I make a mean coconut curry but mostly just live off of smoothies, bagels, and fresh veg. I like to dress up and go to the opera but I also like to sleep under the stars and roll around in the grass. I have a bunch of tattoos (and maybe a few scars).

I grew up a Quaker on an organic rhea farm near London. I built my own straw bale house on Manitoulin Island. I am a helper to an Ojibwe medicine man and have been for the last 10 years (or there abouts). I know more than your average bear about fruit trees. I never went to highschool but now I am starting my master's at U of T (everyone who told me high school was important was wrong, I win!). I spent my teenage years as a nomadic punk rocker living on the side of the road, being a rebel. I absolutely love a pungent cheese and a strong ale. I'm a mystic of sorts.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just moved to the city (Toronto that is) and I am starting my masters at Emmanuel College (part of the U of T). I am working on a masters in divinity which will theoretically lead to ordination with the United Church. I am a landscaper by trade and also a landlord. I have a tendency to work with special needs kids, though I am new to this city so I haven't weaseled into that niche quite yet.

Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back.

Memorizing songs and poetry
Applying sunscreen to my own back
Deep eye contact and intense smiles
Acting like a fool for the enjoyment of my son
Winning at board games (especially the more nerdy kind)

I only have time to read what my profs tell me to but I am trying to get through the Conference of the Birds by Farid Attar right now. Douglas Adams is a hero.

I don't actually have a TV or Netflix (I know it's lame and I live under a rock, but I'm just not into it). Nonetheless, I can enjoy a good nature show (especially with David Attenborough), Star Trek, or a comedy flick now and then. I love Mitch Hedberg, John Oliver, and Louis CK.

I need to find a good place to buy large and inexpensive bowls of tom kha kai. Also craving some sadza, peanut butter vegetables, and trotters so PLEASE tell me if you know of a Zimbabwean restaurant in Toronto.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Pina coladas
Getting caught in the rain
The smell of the ocean
The taste of champagne
Making love at midnight in the dunes of the cape
Meeting you by tomorrow noon and cutting through all this red tape
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
1.How to juggle the numerous and time consuming things I seem to commit myself to
2.The nature of reality and whether or not I exist
3.How to leave the world a better place than I found it
4.Whether or not I can justify eating out again
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Batman
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
