My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tall, dark, handsome... you know, the usual. Ok, maybe more like 'Tall, glows in the dark, and has his moments'. But in all seriousness, if I had to describe myself in one word, I would try and say balanced. I like hanging out with one or two friends at dinner and really getting to know them better. On the other hand, every few months, I like to host a large get together where most of the people don't even know each other. I usually recharge with a quiet day inside relaxing, but can't stand to not get out and do something too.

I grew up in the area and went to UW, so I'm a Huskies and Hawks fan. I find the fun in most situations and activities - as they say in Monty Python, Always look on the bright side of life. I'm a fairly well-rounded person - pretty good at most things, and maybe even excellent at a few :)

As far as what I'm looking for, I'm looking to meet someone amazing - hopefully it's you!
If you're looking for some conversation or company for a date, send me a message :) Or, if I messaged you, I'd love to hear back!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I started working out of college a few years ago, and have been having a great time. I love developing new skills; some of the ones I've worked on in the last few years are snowboarding, motorcycling, kayaking, wood burning (art), construction, being a handy man, swing dancing, and guitar.

You never know when those random skills will come in handy, last summer I used those construction skills to go build houses in Mexico, and they even put me as the Spanish translator! I was surprised that my high school lessons from 8 years prior made me the most experienced, but I owned up to it and did the best I could.

For a while, I was a ski instructor and taught kids how to ski! It was a lot of fun, but super stressful when 5 year olds can fly away from you at 50mph! Hoping to get back into that when I have time.

Apart from that, I'm doing work around the house, hanging out with friends, and getting to know my roommates better!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing foosball, skiing, planning stuff, looking on the bright side of life, cooking aebleskiver, coming up with random recipes with whatever I have left in my kitchen
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Everyone keeps telling me I'm always happy and smiling/laughing, so I'd assume that's what people tend to notice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I haven't been an avid reader since elementary school... but the ones that really stuck with me when I read them were Ender's Game and Lost Horizon.

Movies: My tastes vary a lot, anywhere from Star Wars, James Bond, I love you man, The Goonies, The Big Lebowski, and a whole lot more.

Shows: Generally any nerdy or comedy show, such as Dr. Who, Chuck, Parks and Rec, Merlin, Modern Family, StarGate

Music: I like most things with a good beat. Most of my favorites are classic rock, such as Rush, Boston, The Cars, and Blue Oyster Cult. I've been exploring a lot more indie and EDM recently, but I'll listen to most anything.

Food: Simply put, I love food. I like to eat, and I enjoy experimenting with cooking.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Multitudes of fuzzy blankets, a place to live, my dad and sister, people to talk to, and my own mind to keep me occupied with daydreams, knowing how to count to six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
