My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a full time student in an engineering co-op program.
I love politics, science, and the internet, and it has suddenly occurred to me that I might actually be Al Gore. I like to talk and learn about a wide variety of things!

Aside from all this school stuff I like to pretend that I'm good at arts and write music, experiment with film making, mess around with graphic arts and that kind of creative stuff. I don't do this nearly enough so finding someone who'd like to join me in creativity sessions would be awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently passing engineering at uWaterloo. As for after I get my degree / P. Eng, I'm not 100% sure. I may end up working for a company I've previously done a co-op term at or I may start a company of my own (if I can dream up a good enough product/service).

Aside from school I'm also trying to learn Italian since it's part of my heritage. I'm also trying to be more health conscious / get a bit fitter overall. I think continual self improvement is a good thing to strive for, even if it's only done in small steps.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Computering
- Music: Keyboards/Synth/Piano, Banjo, Vocals (ish) / Remixing ( But I'd say I can write music better than I can play /perform)
- Math and "sciency" things
- Remembering useless facts
- Reciting the chemical elements in song

Disclaimer: I am capable of proper grammar and spelling, but why be all formal?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm going to add more as I see them/think of them but here's a tentative list of movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, District 9, Fifth Element, Lord of The Rings, Sweeney Todd, Pulp Fiction, Star Wars (original trilogy, but I can find some enjoyment from the prequels if I don't think too much), V or Vendetta, Tron (the original, but the new one had Daft Punk at least!), Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian....

Shows: Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Spartacus, Modern Family, IT Crowd, American Horror Story. I've been meaning to get into Dr. Who and Adventure Time for a while now. Boston Legal was also one of the best shows ever. I watched Firefly ages ago and loved it, but I'm a bit ashamed to admit I forget a lot of what happens. I'd love to watch it again...

Music: I listen to most genres, though I especially like electronic (Daft Punk!), classical and alternative/folky rock (Barenaked Ladies!). I'm not too into country or rap.

Food: It's easier to mention what I don't like, namely sweet peppers and olives.

Books: I don't read as much as I would like to/should, but I tend to like non-fiction such as a "Brief History of Time". I enjoy some classic sci-fi as well, including "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". I recently read the biography of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson, a book on the physics of speech and am currently reading a book about design principles. I think what describes my taste in books is my interest in broadening my exposure to new ideas an concepts.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

1. The laws of physics
2. Reddit
3. My Laptop
4. Matter
5. A piano
6. Time / all of history that lead up to my inevitable creation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The life, the universe and everything. I think of a lot of hypothetical situations and "what if" scenarios. I'll often think of crazy (and sometimes impractical) methods of doing things, simply because it's interesting.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably watching Bill Maher and Mayday...or studying.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I reddit WAY too much.
