What to say? I definitely would consider myself the most non-normal, normal guy out there. I’ve always been open to different ideas and different choices people make in life. It’s a big part of who I am. I like to try and accept everyone I try to believe that everything around us is part of a grander scheme. It helps me keep a positive spin on life no matter what is thrown my way.

I have a fantastic background story that led me to being a student at this age. The experiences I have had will last with me forever, and have turned me into a much more compassionate human being. I believe in fighting for what is right, and I want this world to just learn how much easier it is to love than to hate.

Politics are pretty important to me, I don't prescribe to any one party, I like to believe I've come to conclusions on my political platform by educating myself on the issues. Overall, I'm definitely liberal (actually if you go left of progressive/liberal you might find me) and pretty vocal about it - but only when it is appropriate to be - but I love political discussion, how else can I learn what others believe and why they believe what they believe? I believe most people are right about the politics they follow (if they educate themselves on issues), it is our sets of values and our ethic that differ in political belief.

I love hanging out, although I am admittedly not much of a drinker. I'd prefer a glass of cranberry juice when I chill at a bar. With some chilled out fun music. I definitely am not a club/lounge type of dude.

At the end of the day, I find myself being drawn towards the simpler pleasures of life. Lastly, I love nature, I cannot get enough of it. I hope you are into nature (at least a little).

I'm about to move out to Boulder, for a change of career/going back to school to become a clinical herbalist. You should ask about that...

Before I left my job, I was the youngest person in FDNY's history to complete the training program for the unit I was on. So I guess at those skills??

Also, I can fix many things and I can cook a mean back-country meal when camping. Additionally, I can make a spicy cabbage soup that will turn a cabbage hater into a cabbage lover. I have converted many folk to the wonders of my cabbage soup.

I've got a fantastic head for #1) wearing hats and #2) for being bald. I've been told I carry the best features that all bald people could hope for.

Favorite book series (yes I am a bit of a nerd at heart) The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I love high fantasy genre books.

I used to watch movies often and TV often, but I've been cutting down tremendously. So I guess I don't have a favorite movie, although I love slapstick comedies. TV shows, I am addicted to Community, but other than that, most shows I can take or leave.

Music...not enough space or time to rant on my music tastes. I like variations of rock, my favorite band of all time, hands down is Dispatch. My current favorite new band is called Elephant Revival. I highly recommend them if you like mellower rock and roll with a very different take on standard rock and roll instruments - they have a VERY heavy Americana/folk root (they call it Transcendental Rock)

Food...I'm a picky eat - by necessity, not by taste, I wish I could eat everything. Although it has been wonderful for the figure ;-)

I never know really. I guess I like to take long walks on Fridays and clear my mind. So it depends on my schedule.

I secretly will feel as if I've truly made it when I have some land with a decent herbal medicine farm/garden on it, and a horse to ride on the land with my two dogs frolicking in the grasses and trees.
