Ello mate! My name is Krys and i'm currently residing back home in Florida, where it's fun in the sun and great times no matter who you're with. No longer in the military and im excited to move on with the next phase of life and start culinary school. I'm a bigtime gourmand, which doesn't need to sound pretentious. Well, at best it's amazing. I've missed sunny Sarasota and Bradenton for so long. I'm honing my culinary skills day in and day out. Culinary school is right around the corner, but I'm at the point where I'm how I want everything to play out sequentially. On a lighter note, I'm try to be as much of an opportunist as I can and fill this dull earthly forum we call 'living' with as much excitement and passion as I see fit.

Making people laugh. Playing my spanish guitar. Art. Cooking. Running long distances with little clothes on. Riding on the backs of dolphins. Sign language in French. Anything with Scissors. Pretty much anything I can put my mind to.

There are just certain things I need to sustain a healthy and happy lifestyle or I'd probably go wandering off a bridge or something. These are typically all-things great food...Risotto is comfort food. I have an affinity for dishes with lamb, olives and eggplant. Stir-fry dishes with heavy curry and coconut milk... anything I can put my hands over and create something..Yummy seasonal fruits, Stanky cheese, Summer vegetables. A tall glass of amber ale on the side of my plate.

Most of all, in combination these ingredients make me a happy camper. I cant keep away from kombucha tea either. & chai tea made from whole spices.. Whole foods is basically a shrine where I practice my not-so-widely accepted religion of Gourmet-ism..

I try to get out on the weekends, Downtown Sarasota, Tampa. Doesn't have to be club scenes, I like small bars with homely crowds and great imports. I dont ever mind spending my time indoors though. Probably digging in to some delectables no matter who i'm with.

Sometimes I leave the lid up.
