My Self-Summary

Rather than give a summary, here's a list of twenty five things (in no particular order) about me:

1) Art is everything to me. You could take away my tools for creating, but it would not stop me from conceptually creating with my mind. If I get a far-off look in my eye, that's often what I'm doing. Creating is akin to breathing.

2) I will forever be a dog person. It is my goal to one day own a big dopey, drooling dog that I can love. Something like an English Mastiff.

3) Friendship is something that is extremely important to me. I think introducing someone to friends is right up there with meeting the parents/family. My friends pretty much ARE my family, and their opinion is just as important as that of my family.

4) On a summer day, I enjoy going outside in bare feet, and gardening. There is something gratifying about getting incredibly dirty doing something you like.

5) I feel more comfortable walking around/hiking in the woods than anywhere else.

6) I have a bad habit of placing sentimental value on ANYTHING. As a result, I save a lot, and have difficulty throwing things away.

7) I enjoy smiling and laughing a lot. Fortunately for me, it's not hard to get me to do either.

8) I want to someday try my had at stand up. Just once at a coffee house or small place that has a open-mic-night.

9) After seeing the movie "The Bucket List' with my dad, I discovered that skydiving was on his list. I plan on one day taking him.

10) I think that old and young are both just a way of life, it has nothing to do with your age. You can be old at 15, and young at 80. It's all about how you act toward life.

11) I love to sit on the front porch at home while it’s thundering and lightning and listening to the pouring rain and all of the wind chimes we have hanging. It's my favorite sound in the world.

12) I worry way to much. I worry about everything, and anyone. I worry that I worry.

13) I am all about the hug.

14) I love hearing people talk about something they are passionate about. You can hear it in their voice, and see it in their eyes, face, and you can just sense it from their body language.

15) When I was younger, I spent a large portion of my time in the woods with my siblings and neighbors. I can proudly say that I have had poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac all at least once. You couldn't keep me out of the woods, and still can't.

16) My top six internet sites are Deviantart, Facebook, youtube, WoosterCollective, the wiki page my friends and I share, and TACo Oekaki. I spend entirely too much time on the computer, and I don't see this situation improving any time soon.

17) I've decided when I'm old and retired I will take that opportunity to catch up on the latest game system (or maybe I'll just go back to playing SNES). It seems like it would be the opportune time to take on something like that.

18) I love to step on crunchy-looking leaves.

19) There is no 19th story. (If you get that reference, you get a cookie...or a tattoo of a potato on your ankle.)

20) I think fishing is a pretty good time.

21) I have never been in a car accident. Granted, when I'm at school I don't drive, but I'm still proud of the fact.

22) I don't go anywhere without having chap stick in my pocket.

23) Give me a can of brisk iced tea, and I can drink it in under a minute.

24) I did not get shit-faced on my birthday. I don't find excessive drinking to be an alluring pastime. I did have a drink though. It was pink and had fruit in it.

25) If someone wants to know how to do something that I know how to do, I am literally more than happy to show them or help them. I find it sad that some people are surprised by this.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently attending a small school in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This is my last year in the visual arts program. I'll be graduating with a concentration in graphic design. I've been taking a few IT course out here as well, and if I can't find work, I just might go back to school for an IT degree.

Right now my life is somewhat uncertain. Once I graduate, my future will be determined by what (if any) job offers I get. I predict an interesting year.

I’m really good at

Some things I'm good at (or at least things I like to think I'm good at) include making people laugh, designing, problem solving, lending an ear, providing feedback, dog walking, badly singing, finding my way in the woods, eating, and sleeping.

The first things people usually notice about me

If I had to guess, I'd say my hair. Someone that I met on here said I actually look like my profile pictures. (Doesn't everyone?)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love all four of those things, and for all of them I say I'll try anything once. I'll read, watch, listen or eat anything on a good recommendation, or if it strikes my mood.

That being said, a few favorites that come to mind are:

Books: Bluebeard by Vonnegut, anything by Tad Williams, anything inspired by a fairytale (I think the origins of fairy tales are fascinating), Hitchhikers Guide to the Gallaxy, His Dark Materials, and a bunch more I'm not thinking of at the moment.

Movies: My top two movies are probably Patch Adams and Mona Lisa Smile, however, I will pretty much watch anything. My friends and I also immensely love bad horror movies, and find them to be quite humorous. The top two for that "genre" are Cursed and the recently discovered Death Bed: The Bed That Eats.

Music: I'm not a fan of most country. Just about anything else is fair game with me, as long as it doesn't sound like someone screaming.

Food: After eating bad cafeteria food at school all year, anything that is home cooked is fantastic. I'm also quite the fan of any sort of bread, and New York style pizza will always be on my list of favorite food as well.

The six things I could never do without

1)The ability to create.
2)People that I can make smile.
3) My ability to see.
4) Color (as an element of art)
5)Light and shadow.
6)Woods to walk around in.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Happiness and how it relates to myself and those around me.

On a typical Friday night I am

In the mac lab on campus, watching a movie after my work study hours with a friend or two ^_^

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have never burped. The best that I've managed is a sort of messed up sounding hiccup. People have tried to teach me tricks like swallowing air, and have suggested numerous carbonated beverages, but so far nothing has worked.

You should message me if

you: ARE interested in something other than sex, are NOT a creeper, are NOT old enough to be my father (If you have to ask how old my father is, you're probably too old), CAN carry on a fairly intelligent conversation.

Also, please note:
-If I've never met you before, no, I do not want to see you naked,
-I am not interested in a one night stand/random hook up,
-I am not interested in having you as my sugar daddy,
-I don't think it's appropriate to have the first message sent to me be a question in regards to penis size,
-and I'm flattered, but you REALLY didn't need to tell me you want to be the drag version of me.

**Everything on this list is on here because I've had some one bring it up/ask the question. I'm sure I'll eventually have to add more.

The above may have come off as bitchy, but I promise, it's all there for a reason. Most people consider me pretty nice once they get to know me.
