I am a divorced father of two. My kids come first, but there is
plenty of room for the right woman. I am also a city boy. I tried
rural life, it's not for me. I love to be spontaneous with the one
I'm with (gifts for no reason, dinner cooked or out, shows,
strolls, etc.), but I am not the one to be used. I am no one's
penis on call nor am I looking for a horizontal mambo partner, but
can be intimate with the right woman. I am not looking for game
players, male terra-formers, or walking ATM seekers. If that is
you, no offense, but I am not the man for you. I treat those around
me with decency and respect (and also have been known to spoil them
a bit). On a first meeting with anyone, the canvas is blank, the
brush strokes are applied as we talk and get to know each other.

I am a music and film lover who also loves to cook (I'm pretty good according to friends and family) and hang out with friends. My goal is to live a comfortable life, yet do some adventuring around the world with a special someone and my kids. I think what sets me apart from most men is I do not believe true beauty is based on the body alone. A mind and the ability to use it is way sexier than anything to me. Every woman is a jewel in her own right, she may have flaws, but that is what makes her unique and rare. We men need to treat women as the precious jewels women are.
I am old fashioned in the respect that the man holds the door, pulls out the chair for, rises and waits until she is seated, etc. Chivalry is not dead.
As for my tastes, I love many international cuisines and can cook many as well. Music is always loved. I listen to just about anything once.

UPDATE: I have to add a few more things given some of the encounters I've had. If your life is very rigidly scheduled, I am probably not right for you. I am a spontaneous person in some respects. If my kids need me for anything, all else comes second. Only a true parent understands that.
I am not seeking marriage at this point. If it happens with the right woman, of course, but I am not sure I will ever remarry. I am open to friends, hanging out, activity pals, etc. All I ask is be honest and don't tell me what you think I want to hear. Hoonesty in who you are ad what you want carries much more weight than trying to paint "my" perfect picture of what I want.
