Hi! My name is Kerry- I'm 23 years old and recently moved to Brighton. I graduated from Boston College in 2011 and now work at an advertising/media agency. I'm a pretty outgoing person once you get to know me. Since I went to school in the area, I'm looking to meet people outside of my same friend circle and explore some new parts of the city!

I was lucky enough to find a job after college and actually enjoy it. I studied communications so working at an agency is exactly what I hoped I would be doing and I'm so happy that I like the people I work with.

I also recently started volunteering at an elementary school helping kids learn to read who don't come from English speaking homes once a week. It's a good break from becoming too consumed with work and gives me a chance to give kids who need it a chance to do better in school.

Well some of the things I've spent many years of my life doing are dance and acting. I love hiphop dancing and am hoping to start taking some classes again soon somewhere in Boston.

I've been told that I'm good at making people laugh and remembering random facts (though I've never confirmed this at any bar trivia nights). I also try my hardest to be a good, reliable friend who's there to listen when needed.

Short stature (I tower over people at a whopping 5'0), freckles, sense of humor

Books- Perks of Being a Wallflower, Glass Castle, Hunger Games, Go Ask Alice and so many more that I'm blanking on right now...

Movies- Enjoy most genres, comedies are a favorite which is why I'm often caught quoting Anchorman. I love Judd Apatow films but I also go for more serious ones if they're good.

Music- Very eclectic taste. Years of hiphop classes have made me like rap/r&b but I also enjoy alternative, folksy and even musicals. Currently on repeat- Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters & Men, GirlTalk, Black Keyes

I try to spend a lot of time thinking what I can do for someone else- whether it's making a friend smile after a bad day or helping out those who really can't help themselves .

I also spend time thinking about travel and the next place I'd like to go- then about how to save up the money!

I tend to daydream a lot while listening to music. I often find myself choreographing dances in my head without realizing it. I've been teaching myself how to remix/mashup music recently. It's definitely harder than it looks though so it's a work in progress. But I always enjoy learning something new! Even though I'm not in school anymore, I still always want to be teaching myself something whether it be with music, learning a language etc.

Depends on the Friday night really. I'm just as happy staying in watching a movie as I am going out and meeting up with friends. That being said, I definitely have an adventurous side and love to try new things (except food...I'm kind of a wimp with exotic foods).

I can be a bit clumsy sometimes. Once at work, I managed to walk straight into a support pole and nearly knocked myself out. (I don't really hear the end of that one from the coworkers...)
