I am multifaceted, mildly affectionate, and utterly confusing.

My Self-Summary

I've lived around the just-outside-seattle area for all of my life, and I don't dislike it...but I wouldn't mind going elsewhere. I love to travel, anytime. Sometimes on a lark I'll take off for a weekend to wherever it strikes me to go. Not often enough, though. Time is never an issue because there is usually so much more available that we just wind up wasting anyway. Why not use it, I say?

My favorite thing to do is anything unplanned. "Let's go somewhere," I'll say, and next thing my companions and I are on a ferry to parts unknown, getting a piercing, saving a lost puppy, or crossing the border to canada. :)

I have an interesting job with the state.

What I’m doing with my life

Working, right now. I know it's early, but I also want to buy a house soon. (later edit: nope; decideded I don't. Too much commitment, and I want to wind up going to school and not being chained to my job (see below) Decided that awhile ago actually...but I'd still like to invest in land or something...maybe in alaska) I have good credit! I want to get into brewing If I can. I'd also like to check out (we're talking long term here) architechture, massage, owning a business, horticulture, (I'll stop it really goes on and on) Otherwise, I love learning about anything that comes along. Like a sponge. a knowledge sponge. Except I forget things. Like a LEAKY knowledge sponge...who needs to go to sleep.

Fun Fun Fun in the Sun Sun Sun.

I’m really good at

Finding humor in the most hopeless and un-humorous of situations, making it to work on time and in good spirits, staying up all night, planning getaways (whether or not the follow-through happens), and making chicken wings apparently (...though it isn't all that hard).

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes, my obnoxious cohorts, how messy my car is, that I haven't taken my medication (Just kidding! ....or am I...).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a) Anything fun to read. I don't usually stick to an author, but read a lot of random books. the ones I have read more than a couple of Douglas Adams, Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Orson Scott Card and others...but I can't bring them to mind at such short notice. I like just about any Sci-fi, detest romance novels, and have grown out of Anne Rice I think ...and I DID read the Harry potter books (I was like twelve when it began. COME ON!!). I'll save you the trouble; everyone dies.

b) In the cold, dark room I was locked in for eight hours the other night (it's my job again) I watched the Apple dumpling Gang. I decided I want a bonnet. My most recent favorite movie was Stranger than Fiction, and before that "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Not to say I wouldn't love to sit through a Horror classic or laugh as Bambi runs back and forth trying to find his mother (sorry that was uncalled for and I do apologize. I'm really tired).

c) All sorts of stuff! The Decemberists, Frank sinatra, Postal Service, Silly songs with Larry...you see?

d) I like to make things and then force other people to eat it. Usually they don't mind too much.

The six things I could never do without

Coffee, Bad influences, Background music, My hands, Unattainable Aspirations, something to pet.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Things I could invent if I had the right skill knowledge

What the world would be like if...

How to not hate people who are hateful.

Revenge, intricate plans, and how I'll never go through with them.

What I will Begin to be when I'm not what I am already, or when I am what I'm not currently...because really you can't ever not be what you are now, right?

How to survive my job

On a typical Friday night I am

Going to work! If you've read this far, I suppose I can tell you I work night shift at a mental institution. Yes, it is as creepy as it sounds. Not so much cool, though. More...I don't know.

You know when you hang out with crazy people too much and feel like something might be happening....to....you?

Anyway, on MY friday night (which is actually monday morning, 9am. Go figure) I'd probably go out for a drink then catch up with people I accidentally ignored all week. Wait...when it's NIGHT I go out for a drink. I don't go right from work into denny's and order a sangria at 9am. What do you take me for?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I went on vacation quite recently and forgot my teddy bear. I hadn't realized I NEEDED a teddy bear. Jesus Christ, I'm 21 years old for goddsake. Anyway, didn't sleep well the whole trip.

You should message me if

You are interesting, have something to talk about (even if it's about something stupid), and aren't a jerk.

Updated (partially, I'll do the rest later) 8/4/07. message me if it's been WAY too long.
