Brief synopsis: I grew up in California, spent the last 8 years in the UK and recently moved to New York to see what all the fuss was about. I am a closet history geek, avid football fan (soccer to you), and at times I feel like a tourist in my own country. I also have a penchant for beer and whiskey. Obviously I am a classy bird.

Trying to discover all that New York has to offer (one dive bar at a time), whilst casually life sorting.

Walking quickly, getting lost (there might be a correlation between this and my tendency to walk quickly), being on time (despite getting lost), and arguing why my team is better then yours.

Also when everyone is hemming and hawing about what to do, I am generally the one that cuts through the polite "I really don't mind's" and figures out what everyone actually wants to do. It's a skill.

Usually it involves oblique references to certain physical attributes. Go figure...
