So, I think most of us can agree that writing about one’s self is a cruel, cringe worthy process, but here we are. Things you should know about me, I love music, movies, and art. I paint, but not as much as I'd like to. The most important things in my life are my family, and my friends, which include two awesome roommates that I share an amazing house with. One of my favorite places to go in the City is Sutro Bathes, or should I say the site of the former Sutro Bathes. Sitting on a cliff and looking down at the ruins of a once grand popular building being taken over by land and sea seems to put things into perspective for me (not sure if that’s relevant, but whatever). Anyway, I’m a nice down to earth chick living and working in beautiful San Francisco, just trying to make it like everyone else.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently working in a busy cafe, but always looking for something
that might actually require the degree I worked four years for.
I’m really good at
Instead of saying what I'm really good at, which is a great many things let me assure you, I'm going to say that I'm really not good at filling out online dating profiles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I suppose I get the most compliments from strangers about my eyes,
so lets say that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books that I have enjoyed include; Gone With the Wind, Angela's
Ashes, World War Z, Unbroken, and many more. Currently reading The
Book Thief, and it's pretty good.
Movies that have rocked my world in no particular order; Superbad,
Dumb and Dumber, Schindler's List, American History X, American
Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, The Exorcist, Twelve Years a
Slave, Spirited Away, The White Ribbon, and many more.
I will admit that I'm a little bit of a TV addict, HBO has some
great stuff out right now, as does AMC.
I dig so many random things when it comes to music that its
probably not worth listing out for you, but I will say that I have
always thought the theme song for my life should be Dave Brubeck's
I think most of us living in SF are foodies to a certain extent, so
much good food, so little time.
The six things I could never do without
Media, family, Friends, good food, water, beautiful views
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm doing any particular evening.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes working (lame I know), if not, hopefully with some
friends in a cool spot.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I'm online dating?
You should message me if
You can carry your end of a good conversation, if you're bored, if
you have a book/movie/tv show to recommend. If you just want to say
hi and see where it goes.
