My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
flannel wearer, coffee drinker, book addict.

I don't have a particularly good voice, but that doesn't stop me from singing legitimately all the time. Including right now.

I hate taking pictures myself, but I love photography. I live vicariously through photographers.

There's no limit to the number of languages I want to learn.

I'm always looking for new music. My taste doesn't change as much as it expands.

I have an Excel spreadsheet planning out all my future tattoos.

I'd love to go urban exploring, but I've always had a problem working up the courage to break the rules.

You'd be hard pressed to find a subject I wouldn't be interested in learning about.

I have this problem where I want to live everywhere and experience everything, which becomes overwhelming and leads to me going nowhere. I'm working on actually doing something about it. Baby steps.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Constantly traveling between Indiana and Chicago, working two jobs to put myself through school, trying to determine what I want to do with that elusive degree once I have it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Folding clothes, making milkshakes, buying a large amount of books with a small amount of money, being sarcastic, following microwave instructions, playing a flute, dreaming of the things I'd love to be really good at.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair, which on any given day falls on a scale of Hermione Granger to Lorde.

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Devil in the White City, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, This Perfect Day, 1984, Shutter Island, The Godfather, Macbeth, The Runaway Jury, Lucky, A Tale of Two Cities, Kaffir Boy, Angels and Demons, Harry Potter, Eragon, Lord of the Rings, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Agatha Christie, microhistories, true crime, horror, dystopian lit, things that will make me cry, things you probably read in high school english class.

Movies: I will never say no to watching The Lord of the Rings. '90s action movies. Anything in the Marvel universe. Slashers/horror movies - the classics and also the low-budget, questionable acting pieces you find if you scroll down a bit on Netflix. You know the ones. Five friends are separated and die gruesomely one by one by a monster created by inbreeding or a family of cannibals. Anything that combines action and wit. I love fight scenes and one-liners. The Departed, Inception, Fight Club, The Dark Knight, The Hitcher, Despicable Me, Ocean's Eleven, The Breakfast Club, Lilo and Stitch - because I think Stitch is the only animated character ever to make me cry.

Shows: Doctor Who, Supernatural, Parks and Rec, Friends, Bob's Burgers, Frasier, How I Met Your Mother, Survivor, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Law and Order. Actually, basically any type of police procedural ever.

Music: 30 Seconds to Mars, The Academy Is..., blessthefall, The Cab, Lights, Lana Del Rey, Marina and the Diamonds, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Motionless in White, Beyonce, Tonight Alive, Nirvana, Ellie Goulding, Paramore, Walk Off The Earth.

Food: Italian, Mexican, Thai, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Spanish.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Eyeliner, a comfortable pair of combat boots, a used bookstore, an iPod, a pet, an arsenal of products to tame my hair.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Tearing down societal constructs.

Oh, and Kat Dennings.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
having a movie night with my best friend/resident film expert. Or possibly babysitting the Midwest's most adorable two-year-old.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been to a bar once in my life. It was St. Patty's weekend and my friends and I got hustled by some guys who stuck us with their tab.
