What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'd like to meet someone new. Here's what I've been doing on my time. Watching old movies, getting super introspective, cooking. Lately I've been reading novels again. Currently on The Prince, it's fantastic.

I've been jogging for the past few months. I'd like to get in better shape.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I love to learn about new things. I assume that the world passes you by if you don't continue to learn about new things.

So I learned about cooking, cigars, men's fashion, booze, some carpentry. I feel like there's a whole world out there, and it's something that doesn't have a particular goal. There's always something you can do to improve yourself.

I continue to learn about history, politics, and how things work.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Thomas Pynchon, Brett Easton Ellis, David Foster Wallace, Douglas Coupland, Don Delillo, Henry Miller.
I love Bukowski, and liked Hunter S. Thompson, but didn't want to be them. That'll kill ya.
I tend to read postmodern literature, mostly fiction, or based on the writer's life. I like reading about waspy people and their white people problems.

I like all kinds of movies, even movies with subtitles, here are some good ones.
Seven Samurai, Magnificent Seven, The Big Sleep, Sunset Blvd, The Wages of Fear, Diabolique, Westworld, Holy Mountain, El Topo, Possession, Die Hard 1&3,Goodfellas, Annie Hall, Fightclub, Se7ven, the Big Lebowski, Back to the Future,Silence of the Lambs, 28 Days Later, Shawshank Redemption, Fargo, Animal House, old star wars, Evil Dead Series, Blues Brothers, Glen Gary Glen Ross, Boileroom, Feris Buelers Day Off, the Omen, Full Metal Jacket, Wallstreet, Lethal Weapon Series, High Tension, Alien(&s), American Psycho, Natural Born Killers, MASH

I like to watch old movies. Lately, I've been watching a lot of Criterion Collection on hulu. Sometimes I watch samuari movies. I've also been watching film noir. Before that, movies of the 70's, my favorite movie decade. See Kubrick, Scorsese, Coppola, Sidney Lumet, Roman Polanski, Altman, and the list could go on.

I also love scary movies, probably the scariest movie, I've ever seen is called Threads. (1984) It's on youtube. I felt terrible for having seen it, it was like living in the cold war for 112 mins. Eye opener, like Contagion was at making me a germaphobe and freaking me out at all the people who were farting in those seats before me. You just have to turn your brain off from that shit, or you won't enjoy life.

I listen to Podcasts most of the time at work: Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank, Duncan Trussell Family Hour, Harmontown, You Made It Weird. The smartest man in the world is pretty good.
Bonercity USA is some of the most viscerally funny shit I've heard. I've been jamming through old podcasts. If you know other good podcasts, let me know.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Reading, Friends, Movies, Music, Creativity, Bullshitting.
Or if you wanted a materialistic answer. A good chef's knife. I like nice soap. Beard trimmer. I just realized theres not much I'd run to save in a fire. It would suck if I didn't have a computer.

I want to meet new people. If you think that sounds interesting then great, let's figure out if we click. If you just think it might be fun to go and do something like get coffee or a beer to see if I might be to your liking then what are you waiting for? If you'd like to try some funky restaurant or whatever, let's do this.
