My name is Josh, I'm 31 and I live in Hoxton, London. (Formal 'Blind Date' opener always helps!).. I work in TV as a documentary director / cameraman. Lived in London 7 years or so. I'm inquisitive and outgoing with a sense of adventure and good sense of humour (dry but playful). I like reading anything from investigative reporting in Private Eye to classic novels, although I never spend enough time with a good book! I love travel (who doesn't?) and I want to live abroad at some point. I've spent time working or travelling in southern and north Africa, south east Asia, the States and Australia. India has always drawn me back! I'm athletic and do yoga whenever I can and play tennis and sports. in the park. Also enjoy the theatre and markets but also getting away to the coast and surfing or climbing mountains and finding a romantic place for the weekend. Love cycling along the canal and being close to town. Also getting to a decent comedy gig occasionally.

Theatre: This House, Market Boy, War Horse, The Birthday Party...

TV: Curb, Derek (ep. 3 last week was particularly brilliant), Rev, Buzzcocks, Partridge, Africa, Dispatches, The Shadow Line, Black Mirror, The Thick of It, Screen Wipe, Wonders of Life...

Music: Too many to name; I'm all ears!

Cooking: I love cooking. I make lasagne, soups, and currys.. anything from Sri Lankan fish curry and dahl to Thai to Mexican to Italian dishes... And you cannot beat proper olives, cheese and red wine.
