HUGE collection of music and movies....
over 1000 CD's and 60GB of Mp3's plus 1000+DVDs... netflix is my
best friend
Colbert, Daily Show, Chelsea Lately are nightly staples (thanks to
the DVR)... also love 'How I Met Your Mother', 'Its Always Sunny in
Philadelphia', '30 Rock', 'South Park', 'Venture Brothers',
'Archer', 'Californication', 'Weeds', 'Dexter', Breaking Bad, The
Walking Dead, 'Dirty Jobs'... anything interesting and educational
(which used to include a lot of Discovery/History/TLC channel....
but they spend more time now chasing monsters, ghosts, and and
people who didn't know they were pregnant)
Listen to everything from Alternative to classical... no rap or
"young" country however (old stuff yes, new no)
majority of my collection is 80's and classic rock...
Greatest concert EVER was being able to see Pink Floyd live!!! Fav
80's band- Depeche Mode... have over 100CDs just of them (remixes,
bootlegs, imports, etc...)
Not much for reading books... its enough reading all the
publications for my research.
BUT.. do love Micheal Crichton for his attention to detail and
making his fiction plausible. Stephen Hawking's books are excellent
for the lay person wanting to know quantum physics, string theory,
or planning to build your own time machine. (I actually built my
own functioning time machine... ask me about it) Al Franken's takes
on politics and life are hilarious, and he does an incredible job
of researching and citing his material he uses to debunk others
with.
Last non-text book I read was Steve Martins autobiography... a
great look into the mind of a comic genius. In case you didnt know
he 'was born a poor black child'. So its amazing what he's
accomplished!
FOOD... I have the metabolism of a hummingbird and will eat
anything you stick in front of my face. Though I do have my favs...
Chinese (well any Asian cuisine really), Mexican, good home
cooking... and anything spicy
