What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Until recently I lived the life of an IT Engineer in Silicon valley. After a series of most unfortunate events, I had the pleasure of going through a foreclosure of my home, and opted to move back to the much more tropical Tampa, Florida area.
I've decided to take this opportunity to get away from the professional computer scene in favor of an academic life. I'm currently attending USF to complete my long postponed degree. I'm studying cognitive science and neurology with the vague goal of becoming a research scientist in the field of cybernetics and robotics in the future.

Actually, now I'm back to the IT career, having found some redeeming value from working for a greentech industry, and branching out into programming and automation. I still avidly pursue the interests above in my own time, and hope to soon do some hands on hobbyist work in those fields.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning, understanding, thinking, not thinking, fixing, breaking, caring, objectifying, scrutinizing, optimizing, terrifying, entertaining, rationalizing, self-deprecation, self-realization, and writing.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good People, to know and love
Bad People, to keep my fist clenched when it must be
Deviants, miscreants, and ne'er-do-wells, to titillate and tempt
Knowledge to peruse and pursue
Hope for the future
Sanctuary, from all of the above

The prospect of a nuclear exchange or massive global war arouses me on some primal level.

I feel ashamed when I think ill of others, immediately or eventually.
