Before you read on, if you smoke or have kids, you might as well stop reading! I don't have time for any of that.
Now that we have that out of the way, let's start!
Hello :) My name is Andrew and I recently completed a summer internship with the Auburn (NY) Doubledays, single A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. I'm back in CT to figure out the next chapter of my life. I would describe myself as the passionate/nerdy type of person. I take great pleasure in the small things in life hence my love for the television show Seinfeld. I'm the kind of person that loves to try everything. I may not like it, but can take pride in saying that I have at least tried it :) I don't take life too seriously and I treat people the way I would want to be treated. I'm also the kind of person who sees the good in people and the world at large. That's not to say I'm not cynical from time to time, but I don't let the negativity or pessimism of the world bring me down. I'm a positive person with a dose of realism! I'm more outgoing now than I was several years ago, but I still need my alone time.
One of my biggest passions is travel. I have been to three continents (USA, Australia, and Europe including a semester in Munich) and did two years of AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps). If you're interested, ask me about these experiences because I'd be happy to share them with you because sharing them on okcupid doesn't do the travel gods justice!
I LOVE sports and I'm an "ESPNholic" and sports radio junkie. My favorite sports include baseball, basketball, and football. I'm a HUGE baseball geek and love pouring over news, rumors, stats, history, broadcasters, you name it. I love the Yankees and have been a fan since I was a kid! They are my number one sports priority. I love watching college basketball, namely UConn and Syracuse. I should warn you that I'm not a casual fan by any stretch. I have a plethora of websites that I check (ESPN, Deadspin, SI, MLB Trade Rumors, Fangraphs, some Yankee blogs). I take sports very seriously!
