My Self-Summary
I'm originally from the Dallas area but now in NYC because TX was
too boring & hot for me. It would be nice to make new friends
or meet a nice young lady who are interested in showing some
companionship to a nice gentleman. Perhaps a trip to a museum or
exploring the city or just hanging out & taking it easy. I'd
prefer to meet someone in NYC (but if you are in NJ, I might take a
trip across the river depending on how special you are.:P) Aside
from my regular job, I occasionally do freelance graphic design, as
well as artwork for fun. I have wide interests in music. I also
have interests in comics, film, literature, animation, pop culture,
internet culture, etc. I'm the Kangol king. Can't you tell by all
my hats? And before you ask, the hat thing doesn't have anything to
do with baldness. It's just a style I adopted as my signature
image.

I’m really good at
Researching & learning about things that interest me. I crave
knowledge about anything & everything. My unrealistic long-term
goal is to gain infinite wisdom. I'm full of random information,
which is why you should keep me around. Who else will tell you what
song Kanye sampled? Who else will tell you what designer the Mad
Men opening is a tribute to?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Music: hip hop, jazz, soul, funk, afro-cuban, bossa nova, rock, new
wave, lounge, obscure stuff. You could say I know a lot about
music.
Movies: My netflix account is helping me become a regular film buff. I find myself watching older movies such as film noir from the 40s & 50s, French new wave from the 60s, movies shot in NYC during the 70s, or things that passed me by in the 80s.
TV: The Office, 30 Rock, The Simpsons, South Park. I don't have cable, so I watch a lot of shows on DVD. The Wire, Mad Men, The Sopranos & Dexter are all great.
Books: Watchmen, 1984, The Stranger, Native Son, so many to name.
Food: Italian, Mexican, Thai, etc.
