I am relatively new to Central Arkansas (a Texas Transplant), and am enjoying every opportunity to make new friends and explore everything this beautiful state has to offer!

I am passionate about life, and believe in savoring every moment! Most of my time is consumed with work (I actually enjoy my job), Church involvement, Photography and Music.
I'm a classically trained singer, but I also love singing old school jazz and blues; and have recently starting having a ball with Karaoke.
I started taking guitar lessons last fall, but work/life afforded too many distractions to continue...I am looking to get back into the groove soon.

I love to learn new things and tend to pick up new hobbies all of the time...of course this means that I have lots of projects that are "almost done" LOL.

What am I looking for?
I am looking for someone who enjoys life as much as I do....someone who has faith similar to my own, someone who is emotionally healthy, someone who can laugh at his mistakes (and mine).
I want someone who will challenge me intellectually and spiritually.

Life is a journey best shared.

I love my job (a career field I have been in for 15 years), but it does not define me. I consider my life to be that which I do outside of office hours. For me, the most important part of life is relationships with others - be it friendships, family or showing a little kindness to a perfect stranger.

I can blend into the uptown city scene or be in the laid back country crowd; it just depends on the situation. I am a social person and love to be around other people. I like to go out with friends for drinks and fun but I also like to share quiet times together with someone special.

Singing, cooking, holding deep conversations...or silly one's, being a true friend, and finding excuses to keep from mowing my lawn

Aside from my hobbies, I really enjoy getting out and getting involved in community service projects. I strongly believe that it is up to each of us to make the lives of others just a little bit better - whether by a kind word or act.

LOL -- Most people FIRST notice that I am taller than most women (6')...and I still like to wear heels :)

Seriously though, I always seem to have a smile on my face, and people tell me that I am very approachable & friendly.

Reading - I tend to do this in spurts. I love books, and have stacks of them around the house -- Just finding the uninterrupted time to enjoy them is the challenge.

Movies - Chick Flicks are a given, Office Space, Sci-Fi Movies like The Matrix, Serenity and Gattica.

Music - I am one of those music nerds that listens to everything...Mozart, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Greenday, Vallejo, System of a Down, Allison Kraus, Switchfoot, Diana Krall, Jet, The Clash, The Beatles, Metallica, Reba McIntire, Saliva, Bob Schneider, One Bad Pig, Wilco...YOU NAME IT!

Food - I favor Asian & Mediterranean foods, but am open to just about anything. (Sushi is a big favorite)

What's typical? I might be heading to Juanitas with friends, going to a concert/play, meeting up with friends at Flying Saucer for a drink, having people over for dinner, traveling to visit a friend, heading home to Austin, TX for a visit, or...like tonight...ordering Chinese and watching the newest arrivals from Netflix
