My Self-Summary
I am a native Northwesterner and this place will always be my home.
I just wish there was enough sun here to grow mango, papaya and
citrus outside. I love really investing in my connections with
people and having satisfying work and play.
I bike across the bridges to work; I love crossing the water and seeing how the city looks different every day. I'm good at making dinner at whatever happens to be in the fridge and dancing around the kitchen while I make it.

My big green eyes... and that I'm short.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books are anything by Barbara Kingsolver, Terry Tempest
Williams and Wendell Berry. I've recently rediscovered Molly
Ringwald and saw 16 Candles for the first time two weeks ago. My
first ever CD was Tracy Chapman and I still love her and I cried at
her concert. I also listen to a lot of reggaeton, salsa and right
now I'm on a Bollywood soundtrack kick. I love chocolate and pork.
I also love salad I made out of veggies I grow in my garden and
eating a whole can of black olives in one sitting.
The six things I could never do without
Books, friends, family, being outside, sun and sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my next sewing project is going to be, what I'm going to do
with my life, what I'm going to plant in my garden and how I'm
going to build a chicken coop with scrap wood that I carry home on
my bike.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lying on the couch, exhausted and wishing I had the energy to go
out. Or I might be at a happy hour or cooking dinner with friends,
but only if I don't get to my couch before then.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm accident prone. For example, I crashed on my bike and ended up
splayed out in the middle of road surrounded by a pile of flour
that was going to become a rhubarb coffee cake. Miraculously, the
egg wrapped in newspaper did not break!
