My Self-Summary
Currently I'm studying physics at Iowa State University. I've
got about two more years to go there. I've lived in Iowa most of my
life, but have lived in other places as well.
I'm a pretty simple guy at heart. I like to have a good time, talk about things I care about, sometimes things I don't really care about, and study anything interesting. I really enjoy music, movies, and books, though I don't know much about the last two. I generally like things that make you think.
If you spend any amount of time with me you'll know that I can be funny sometimes, frustrating at others, but generally interesting. I can be a bit of a social chameleon, though, so sometimes you may see some parts more than others. I've been told by people that I'm someone you need to meet more than once to get the whole picture, whether it's good or bad, I have no clue.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm going to finish up my Physics degree, and maybe take on another
if I have time. Then I plan on going to grad school somewhere.
Right now I work at the Plant Sciences Institute.

tedious work, and making a complete ass of myself.

pretty quiet guy. This usually changes when I get to know people

Rock, Metal, Reggae
A few of my favorite bands are Iron Maiden, Crosby, Stills, and Nash (with or without Young), Rush, Tool, and Bruce Springsteen.
I enjoy New Order, Ultravox, and Oingo Boingo too. I can't get enough of Kate Bush recently.
I'm always on the lookout for Power Metal.

I enjoy pretty much any Italian, Mexican, or Chinese. I really love good biscuits and gravy.

The six things I could never do without
I can make do without most things, but I really appreciate tea or
coffee, physics, my family, studying the Russian language, although
I'm bad at it, listening to music, and books on various interesting
topics.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about how the universe works, how different the world
be in 50 years, how I could be doing so much more, and about how I
don't spend enough time enjoying the place and people around me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually I'm at home watching TV, playing video games, or reading a
book. I don't get out much anymore because most of my outgoing
friends are away and I'm a homebody by nature.
