My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
New Englander turned West Coast lover! I have lived all over, but California kept calling me back for its very obvious charms. Being landlocked has always made me feel very claustrophobic. In case an emergency evacuation is in order, maybe? As a result, I just celebrated my two year anniversary in SF. I live a minimalist life and try to focus on whole foods and minimal chemicals. Baking soda and vinegar are awesome! My favorite weekend pastime is grabbing a backpack with a blanket, deck of cards, a book and a bottle of a bubbly libation, and taking to the road to explore! Nature makes me weak in the knees, but not literally, because I wouldn't be able to walk around in it, which I do often... Idioms also make me weak in the knees.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working toward a CA teaching credential for elementary education. After trying out several types of education from ESL in other countries, to after school programs, to private school, I've landed on Kindergarten. Exhausting and super fun!!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Staying calm. Speaking the truth. Confronting challenges. Minimalism. Teaching children. Keeping succulents alive. Disc golf (accuracy not distance). Snacks! Liking bacon. Making homemade lotions. Simpsons trivia(I could use some help with this one)!

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Peace of mind
Fresh air
Bodies of water for looking at and getting into
And the other obvious ones...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All the homeless animals in the city and how much room is at the foot of my bed. How to find someone I truly connect with and how not to end sentences with prepositions. Where to explore. What my profile would have looked like if my pictures of Machu Picchu hadn't been stolen. Hall and Oates.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
This definitely varies. Any ideas?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My mom randomly sends me stuffed robots of varying sizes and colors. I have a cool mom.
