I am hungry, still hungry, and yeah, hungry.

My Self-Summary

Female, 22, likes to debate via nose twitches about matters of an existential nature. That's a complete lie. More likely to be found communicating via toe dance about the benefits of cheese in modern society.

Frequently found playing video games, flopping about in the ocean or stuffing her gob with spaghetti bolognese.

What I’m doing with my life

- Learning. Everything. Today, the Australian constitutional framework, tomorrow, gravitational mass. The day following, the complexities of a perfect ham, cheese and tomato sandwich.

- Full-time Bachelor of Arts student at Monash University, majoring in Politics, Journalism and International Relations. Yes, I'm busy all the goddamn time. I'm annoyingly serious about my degree, to the point of actual hurt when people infer that Arts students are slackers. I'm nearing the end of this degree and intend to delve deeper into the heaving, pretentious pit that is academia (that is, take up another degree).

- Publisher/co-editor of a flash fiction webzine. Small and unexpectedly fun project that I took up this year. Funds pending, I look forward to further strengthening the appeal and content of the webzine next year.

- Training. I am physically active so I'm usually training for one event or another. I run 4km three times a week, I cycle 35km twice a week, I swim whenever possible. Since I live about an hour from the beach it's kinda hard to get any swimming in. At the moment I'm training for the 100km Around the Bay in a Day, which has been fun. From January next year I'll be training for the 210km!

- Writing. I'm a part-time sports writer for a small Melbourne-based publication. I write outside of sport-related matters, I just don't get paid for it!

I’m really good at

- Video games

- Sport

- Editing

- Trivia

- Shots

- Twister

- Researching

- Bongo drumming (yeah, laugh, but it's my thing).

- Making myself sound like a complete wank in these things.

The first things people usually notice about me

My breasts. I'm 5'2, slender, with size 12D breasts. Some find that wonderful. I find it extremely annoying.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Food - BBQ anything. Yoghurt. Pasta. Cheese (vintage, brie, feta). Sushi. Duck. Cereal (which in my opinion should be permitted as a dinner food).

Music - I've developed a thing for psychedelic rock. I also have a soft spot for big band-style swing, jazz and bebop. And then there's the relentless fascination with 90s grunge and pop. Presently I'm dancing about my room (read air guitar) to Layla by Eric Clapton. I'm not even sure what to call my music tastes anymore. Broad?

Movies - Avid moviegoer. List too long. Ask me. I review frequently.

Books - I have a fairly extensive book collection, to the extent that I'll probably need a library in my next house. So I couldn't list my favourites. I am, however, an intensely big fan of speculative fiction.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I don't know. Food, mostly. Or these things:

Politics
Whether the milk has gone bad.
The economy and whether or not my stocks have, you know, died.
My next meal
What my other temporal fragments are doing.
Kissing
And lately, morality. Specifically the purpose of moral absolutism. Which inevitably swings back to politics. And milk.

On a typical Friday night I am

I'm something of a homebody, though on occasion I find being indoors a little suffocating. I'm therefore prone to departing the house swiftly without much of an idea as to where I will end up. This is where I am most frequently:

At a pub. Admittedly I hate beer, but socialising with friends in a warm pub atmosphere over good pub food and a drink or two is neat.

At the movies with a mint choc-top.

At home with a self-cooked meal, re-watching some old episodes of A Bit of Fry and Laurie or playing Resident Evil 4/Gaia/Katamari Damacy/Grand Theft Auto.

Writing yet another article to add to my published portfolio. With ice-cream. Mango ice-cream.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

So this account was originally created due to yours truly feeling rather miserable about what seemed to be the last gasps of an intense long-term relationship. The issues associated with that relationship have since been patched up and I'm proud to say that I'm deliriously content with my lady friend and our gem of a relationship. I am maintaining this profile, however, because I see no harm in making friends. I've met some overwhelmingly delightful people on here and I hope that continues.

You should message me if

You've got spine. If you've got one of those, I won't need to hold you up (hah! A joke! Funny!)

You can tolerate bad jokes.

But seriously. Spine. I admire emotionally-stable people with strong opinions and the capacity to support them. There's nothing I despise more than empty symbolism. Keep that in mind.
