My self-summary
i'm a native new yorker, just moved back to brooklyn after hanging around DC for a while. I work at a domestic violence shelter and i love it.

I sing. a lot. I was in a co-ed acapella group in college, so spontaneous harmonizing occurs frequently. I also play the alto sax and piano. I'm an ardent feminist, run away! No really, most educated people are feminists. I've worked for women's rights nonprofits and am very passionate about my feminist activism. After quitting my nonprofit work last year to travel, I'm happy to be back in New York.

I am very into yummy beer, yummy food, and tea. i really like pickles and milanos. Not together. I have a passion for pho noodles. Beards are a major plus. I'm a bit obsessed with my dog, hes a beagle mutt mix and he barks at the wind. He's special.

I have a few tats, small and meaningful. I'm planning more, some black and grey illustrations. I like going to all kinds of concerts minus rap and country. I dig the modern art. I lived in Brazil and am extremely obsessed with the country. I speak Portuguese pretty well, as well as Spanish and a little bit of Hindi. I like being independent, but Im looking for someone to have adventures with. It's not a deal breaker, but definitely makes you more attractive if you're interested in feminism, women's rights history and feminist literature. I can name all the state capitals. My Elaine dance is beautiful. If you can name two or more legends of the hidden temple teams, a very good sign indeed.
