My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a student who loves reading, the paranormal, the fantasy genre, and science in general. I've been described as things like "a doll" and "a good friend." Humor is important to me. I dislike it when people squish bugs when the bugs aren't doing anything to annoy or scare them. I'm open-minded; I love to research alternate lifestyles, body modification, other cultures—things like that. I'm a huge fan of the animal kingdom: behavior, anatomy, ecosystems, etc.

I am a psychology major, because I love talking to people about their darker selves... and exploring how the way people tick has shaped the world. When I finish my undergraduate degree I'll get a Masters degree, plus there are a handful of sexology-related counseling certifications that I'm really excited about. The plan is that this job will A) help people, and B) not get boring. Hopefully in that order.

My favorite people are openly and unashamedly unique... also, my pet peeves are stupidity, narrow-mindedness, and excessive cussing.

I am eccentric, nice, and a bookworm.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Soaking up information like a sponge. Yet always forgetting where I left my phone.

Seriously, it keeps disappearing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing. Imagining. Being diplomatic. Reasoning with people. Arts and crafts. Talking things up. Making my characters real. Explaining things to people. Sticking to my philosophy of pretending there's no such thing as a stupid question. Child care, apparently.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm usually oddly dressed and often have my nose in a book. I laugh a lot. And I'm pretty non-threatening-looking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My three favorite book series are written by, respectively:
Terry Pratchett
Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child
M. Alice LeGrow

I also adore Neil Gaiman's work, and have gotten very far into the podcast Welcome to Night Vale recently.

Favorite TV shows are probably the original Twilight Zone, Kim Possible, Young Justice, and The US of Tara. I will nerd out over Doctor Who and Star Trek (Voyager's the best!).

This is an extremely partial list, but there you go.

Hands down, my favorite band is White Lies. I just love them. So much.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Physical things? I'm going to pretend this means physical things, not counting other people and stuff like water/fire/weather patterns/etc.

Books, WWW access, museums, writing implements, music players, aaaaand... I dunno. That's all I can think of right now besides "chairs."
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Complex daydreams occupy most of my thinking time. I have loads of storylines in a bunch of different universes (from TV/movies/books), and tons more characters. Other than that... brainstorming for art projects, figuring how to manage my to-do list, and contemplating how things work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Reading recreationally, hanging out with friends, volunteering, watching TV, eating while doing one or both of those things, homework, surfing the web, working on an art project, or pacing while [daydreaming/singing].
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a crush on SA Aloysius X. L. Pendergast. And if you know who that is, message me immediately, we have stuff to talk about.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over. love meeting talkative new people who are fascinated by the world!

I am happily taken and not looking for any more partners, so if you're looking for anything other than a platonic relationship, goodbye and good luck!

If you're looking for new friends, penpals, or a sympathetic ear, I am happy to chat. ^-^ Please don't send me messages that say:
"Hello! [end of message]"
...ambiguous, pre-typed novellas that are used as standardized greetings. ;p

But besides that, I am a very thoughtful person, and if you are also a thoughtful person, message me and we can be thoughtful together. :D
