My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
How to start these awkward things that hardly any one reads... Hmm... the tl;dr version is this: I work "part time", just graduated and love kids.

For the longer version...

Well, I got back from Costa Rica in June. It was amazing and ended too soon. I came back a bit battered and bruised from banana boating, hiking and snorkeling but it was loads of fun.

So, what to say about me? For starters, my name is Katie. I went to the Uindy for a Psychology major and am going to graduate school for my masters in Occupational Therapy.

I work with the disabled and help them to achieve their goals and pretty much just hang out with them. They are awesome and I have the best job ever. Since graduate school is taking up most of my time I am only working weekends.

When I am not working or at school, I usually take care of my nieces. So if you don't like kids I'm probably not right for you.

If you have other questions, just ask. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I answered most of this in the above section, but to reiterate: I work part time with people who have disabilities. In my free time I read, watch Netflix, take care of my nieces and go out to movies or drink with some friends (I don't get much time to do that though) I also have picked up bowling when I get the chance (though I am not very good at it) and hiking around Hummel Park or bike riding or walking my two big dogs.

When you're a kid, they tell you it's all: Grow up. Get a job. Get married. Get a house. Have a kid. And that's it. But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It's so much darker. And so much madder...And so much better.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I found that I am really good at school. I have made the Dean's List every year in college and graduated eighth in my class in high school.

I am extremely reliable and I find it hard to say no, unless I am vehemently against something. That is probably why I am working so much...

I am extremely motivated and goal oriented. I can also be opinionated. I know what I want out of life and am not afraid to go get it.

Ummm... I'm also really caring and seem to always go out of my way to help people. And I am good at reading. :)

Oh goodness, so much to list. I will try to keep it short.

Books: Piers Anthony is my favorite at the moment but also Ender's Game and Shadow, Sherlyon Kenyon books, the Hobbit, Doctor Who books, Harry Potter etc...

Movies: I watch about any genre (except horror), but my all time favorites are- The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog. I've also been watching a lot of zombie movies and shows like warm bodies or the walking dead.

Shows: Fry and Laurie, IT Crowd, Doctor Who, Dexter, Bones, Psych, Firefly and Torchwood. HIMYM though I am not caught up since I watch it on Netflix and the Walking Dead I have finished the first two seasons. Oh, and Who's Line is it Anyway.

I like pretty much all music. My favorites are Imagine Dragons, Panic at the Disco, Three Days Grace, LMFAO (good to dance/rock out/ work out to) some country, Simple Plan, and 90's music is always the best. Nostalgia!

I can be a pretty picky eater. But I find myself eating a lot of chicken.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Hydrogen, Phosphate, and Sulfur

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything! Time travel, parallel worlds, what I did ten minutes ago, what am I doing now, what will I do in the future. Why are we here? And don't say 42 :p Just everything. This universe is amazing and we have only uncovered a tiny bit of what there is to know.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working with one of my clients, or staying in to watch Netflix. Boring, I know, but I would rather go out on less busy nights. Also, since starting this job I am always out until about 9 with a client. I have been going on a few dates on Friday nights, but they tend to be later in the evening. I have also gone out with friends, so I guess it just depends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I can be very ditsy and shy one moment, and the most intelligent and belligerent person the next.

Also, if talking to me in person and you bring up Doctor Who, don't expect to be able to walk away anytime soon...
