I am well-read, opinionated, and not always rational.
My Self-Summary
When I was four years-old I absolutely KNEW that I wanted to be a
doctor. I seriously wouldn't stop talking about it. I grew up on
shows like sesame street and real-life surgery.
When my mom took me to the pediatrician I wouldn't stop asking
questions. What's that? Why? How come? Endless questions. I never
cried once while getting a shot. Never, not even as a baby. (I've
asked my parents)
My parents bought me the whole fisher price doctor's kit, colorful
band-aids, cotton balls, etc. I even had a white coat...
Now I'm 21. I have no idea. I'm in school and everything and on
track for my degree, but I have no idea what I want my career to
be. Everything that I can think of involves the possibility of
instability or inconsistancy. I guess I should have stuck with that
whole doctor thing...
What I’m doing with my life
I'm going to college with a major in graphic design. I'm working
too...of course. Also trying to have a little fun in between!
I’m really good at
Reading people. Within the first ten minutes of meeting someone I
can tell whether we have a future as friends or more than that.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile (thank you orthodontia). And my deep giggle. I laugh
easilly.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Fav. Books: Anything by Ayn Rand...its interesting, but I don't
always agree with what she has to say. I've read The Bell Jar six
times. Currently reading "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.
Fav. Movies: Christopher Guest Films. (Spinal Tap rocks my world)
Comedies, the occasional "witty" action movie is alright. I'll
watch pretty much anything except horror (If I do, I have to sleep
with the lights on that night...I get freaked easily).
Fav. Music: RADIOHEAD is my favorite. Damien Rice. Cat Power.
Regina Spektor. Tegan and Sara. There are so many more. My ipod is
half full (15 gb worth of music)
Fav. Food: french press coffee. mandarin oranges. graham crackers.
mangos. raspberries. dietcoke w/lime.
The six things I could never do without
1.) Fully Charged ipod.
2.) Antihistamine of some kind.
3.) A good book.
4.) Good people around me.
5.) Soap.
6.) Therapy - yeah I go to therapy, I think everyone should.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My past and how it may/will effect my future. And trying to stay
mindful of the moment I'm in and just let things be as they are.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working OR curling up with some coffee and a book OR hanging
out...galivanting across south-eastern wisconsin.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I cry during movies...well, I guess its better describe as weeping.
It has to be provoked, but it happens more often than not.
You should message me if
you want to get to know me
have something interesting to talk about
we have common interests
or you know some good books or bands that i haven't checked out
