Hi! I'm Kate, nice to meet you. I just graduated from UVic and am working right now as a government zombie, as well as at a health food store. Victoria is kind of like my safe haven while I decided what's next. I'm prolonging it as much as I can.

I consider myself a feminist, environmentalist, and fairly socially aware... I probably don't know all the "isms" but I enjoy talking about the world and it's fucked-upness.

I love to travel, I've got a few notches on my belt but not nearly enough. I've got what the Germans refer to as wanderlust.

I also bike places, burn incense, and my roommates consider me the "clean" one.

I am trying to decide this at the moment. Working, having fun, existing?

People sometimes tell me that I look really Irish.

I'm reading Jessica Valenti right now, she's rad. I'm trying to read for fun now that I can, but finding time is proving difficult. My list of books to read is enormous and constantly growing.

I love podcasts a lot. I don't know if anyone else consumes them as much as I do, but if you're out there we should be friends. Right now my favourites are Risk, the Moth, Savage Love, TAL.

I love most music, and will go see anything live. I (not so secretly) wish I was a rockstar.
