My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Semi-hopeful cynic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Creative writing major currently not putting it to professional use.

Working at Sony Network Entertainment on the digital operations team setting up content for the PlayStation store.

Writing (though not enough). Short stories / Long Stories / Scripts.

I just moved to Alameda, so anyone from Alameda or Oakland who knows some cool spots, feel free to throw me some of your favorite hipster joints so I can look them up, scoff at their trendiness publicly, and then privately make a note to check them out some time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing. Music. Watching baseball. Drinking beer.

Also embroidery, leatherworking, cookie-jar collecting, and being a sarcastic ass.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Nerd Stuff -- Warcraft, Warhammer, The Elder Scrolls, Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, Dragonlance, Star Wars (even the extended universe, sadly), Star Trek (all of them), Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and way too many more to name. If it has an epic story and a ton of lore-infused goodness, I'm in to it (line's that way, ladies).

Books -- Vonnegut, Palahniuk, Bukowski, Flannery O'Connor, Camus, and a bunch more that you can probably figure out based on the rest of this pretentious crap. Also Terry Pratchett.

TV -- Smart and funny stuff. Smart and dramatic stuff. Anything on HBO or AMC. Every critically-praised TV show of the past decade and even some that critics hated. I'll get more specific at some point. Probably.

Music -- Metal. Retrofuture Electronica with an 80s vibe. Sludgey stoner rock. Anything intensely aggressive or intensely relaxing, I usually hate shit that falls in the middle.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Stories
2. Smart people to talk to.
3. Dumb people to mock.
4. Intoxicants
5. ?
6. ?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"Why do we argue? Life's so fragile, a successful virus clinging to a speck of mud, suspended in endless nothing."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I could make it seem like I go out all the time, and sometimes I do. But most likely? Getting stoned and playing video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I want to bring back the mustache in a non-ironic capacity. The majestic look of a groomed and mustachioed man has been co-opted and ruined by hipsters and pedophiles for too damn long.
