I'm smart, creative, talkative and shy.

I'm back in school, finishing my degree. I just declared my major in English with a concentration in Writing and a Philosophy minor and registered for classes for Summer and Fall 2013. While I'm back in school, I'll be continuing my internship with a nonprofit I love. I'm writing a cyberpunk novel and teaching myself to program so I can write an interactive format for it. I go dancing at least once most weeks, and I host a weekly Game Day for board games at my house.

I'm good at pattern analysis, creative problem solving, and throwing myself back into the fray one more time after getting knocked on my ass again. No falls, no balls. Or something.

Intense, bright and odd are words I've heard applied to me.

Music: I like music I have history with, so anything from a decade or more ago. I especially like New Wave and Classic Rock.

Food: I've been learning little bits of cooking lately, and I try to prep some stuff over the weekends to make meals during the week easy. I like mushrooms and onions, so I sautée a bunch, make up some soup and some hollandaise sauce, and then keep taco fixings, frozen chicken, stuff for salads and omelettes and things on hand so I can throw together healthy meals at need.

Plans, hope, stories, friends, a challenge and a sense of humor.

I've usually got a puzzle of some sort to work on. Right now it's why people do what they do, what they're trying to communicate when they do whatever it is, and how to peacefully coexist. Dating, work, school and friends are all subsets of this. Culture's an angle on it. Music, internet and beer are modifiers.

Many Fridays I wind up on the patio of a local bar with a group of old friends, talking about board games, playing cards and dice games, and eating Greek pizza. NOM.

I just got my forehead stitched up after some minor surgery, and I now have a scar that runs through my left eyebrow.
