When I’m not working, I spend a lot of time with family and friends. I’ve known some of my closest friends since middle school and, if asked about me, they would probably give me heartfelt accolades like, “eh, he’s alright.” How could I replace friends like that? My family still lives in the town where I grew up and they frequently stop by for 5pm Sunday dinner. I wish there were more Sundays in the week, but I also wish dinner started a little later. They taught me old-fashioned values like holding doors and saying please and thank you.
On a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, I like to get out and walk around the city with no particular destination. Disclaimer: 8+ mile walks have been known to happen on occasion. I also like getting to the driving range. Once upon a time, when I played in college, I was a 1 handicap. Now, not so much.
