My self-summary
I'm a romantic pessimist who's afternoon cup of tea buddy is a thing called hope. And hope is a bitch.
Creating movies is my game... and all that comes with it... writing drawing exploring.. voyeurism...
What I’m doing with my life
Read above.
Also... playing carer to my live in niece.
Researching anything I land on.
I’m really good at
being me. Damn brilliant at it actually.

Reading others.. Allowing others to be themselves.
Having crazily high expectations.
Organising people and stuff so that it all works seemlessly together (especially whilst on a film set.)
Wandering cemetaries at night.
Giving my honest opinon.. Even if it gets me or others in trouble.
The first things people usually notice about me
Ask them.

But in a pinch? Eyes... Breasts... Weightishness... Brutally confident honesty.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
HEAPS!! Dear God they compiled that all into one question?! (where's the interrobang key when I need it..)

umm....

Music:
Patton is God, and watching Marcus Mumford do his drumming thing is one of my absolute favourite things. But other than them... metal \m/ (of various genres..) and folk (impossible to decipher that one).. and well.. lots of things really. oh oh oh.. Tom Waits. Nick Cave. Nina Simone. Howlin' Wolf... and recently... Childish Gambino with a side helping of Die Antwoord an' dem Blues.

Currently Reading:
Stuart: A Life Backwards by Alexander Masters (amazing biography of a homeless guy in Cambridge) Also Neil Gaiman's Sandman (.. cos its a wonderful collection), Don DeLillo's Cosmopolis (cos of fucking outstanding dialogue in the movie).

And to my niece I'm reading The Witches.. cos no one should have to grow up without someone reading Roald Dahl to them. And Winnie-the-Pooh.

Movies:
gimme cult and arthouse and disney any day of the week... and good tv.

Food:
Japanese, Thai, ModOz, Indian...
The six things I could never do without
my hands.
my mind.
writing/drawing materials.
kisses...
passion and intensity and love and ideas...
music of some good kind.
felines.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Me. Doesn't everyone think about themselves more than any other thing? Think about it.

The way stuff works. Why people do what they do. The world around me. What might be itching around in someone elses brain. Philosophy. The weather/sky.
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching flicks.. either in or out.
Maybe checking out a gig of some kind.
Reading. Almost always reading. Or researching. Or writing. Or thinking about doing any one of those things...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The first two cd's I ever got were a Cher: Greatest Hits, and one by Celine Dion... and every time I try and throw them out I fail and end up playing them really loudly whilst cleaning the house.
