My Self-Summary

Howdy. I'm not a country bumpkin, even though I sound like one. I've always said that my IQ goes down 4 or 5 points every time I open my mouth and speak. I promise that I'm smarter than I sound. I Love Rock-N-Roll and all sorts of other music as well. One of my favorite things to do is go to see a live band perform. The environment and the people are great! I'm not into being a couch potato but I do like to stay in from time to time. I'm very low maintenance. A lot of people pre-judge me as being pretentious, but I'm just the opposite. I love to joke around and make others around me laugh. I don't care if I make a fool of myself. If someone's day gets brighter because of me... then I say, "Mission Accomplished".

What I’m doing with my life

I'm in a void right now. I've recently quit a high paying career to try to get my own business going. It's slow going though. I will not admit my defeat just yet but I also realize that the time has come to get back into that grind of working the wonderful 10 to 12 hr days again. It's all good though. In the end, things will work out for the best. I am not "set in my ways"..... geez... I'm not quite that old yet. ha ha Dreams can change and shift to another dream. It's okay... it doesn't mean you've lost the battle. It just means that you found a better path to take.

I’m really good at

I believe I'm pretty good at making other people laugh. I always try to be a good listener but I will admit that when I get excited to say something... I'm very good at cutting people off at the pass before they have finished what they're saying. I'm working on this. I know it stinks but if I said that I was perfect... then you'd just flip on to the next person now wouldn't you? LOL

The first things people usually notice about me

The first thing people usually notice about me is my smile.... and believe me... I smile A LOT! I can't help myself. It's just what I do. Heck, I sometimes smile when I'm angry. Try that one on for size.
I would say that people also notice my personality right away. I love to joke and laugh... so people that I've just met will either think that I've totally lost my mind and need a padded cell... OR... they will think I'm great. It's a love/hate relationship I think for most people. They either like me or they don't.... not much gray area there.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm almost embarrassed to say this but.... the first book I EVER read from cover to cover was a Dean Koontz book called Cold Fire. I moved on to Lightening and many more after that. Dean Koontz is a fiction writer with lots of detail, suspense, love, murder, etc. It's a packaged deal. From the first paragraph... I was hooked. I haven't read much here lately though. I've been focusing on my business.
Hmmm... movies. Where do I begin? I love movies of all kinds. I guess it depends on my mood at the time but I'm usually open to just about anything on the big screen. I like horror, reality, love stories, etc.
I love comedy. I know... it's hard to believe but it's true. Brian Regan has to be one of my favorite. I like Ron White though too. He is so sarcastic.... you just gotta love 'em!
I've already mentioned the music up above. Food you ask? I love to eat! My favorite food I'd have to say hands down is Mexican Food. Yum! Lets eat!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I've been thinking a lot about my business here lately. Trying to figure out the right direction to go.
I do think about that dream home by the water with it's own boathouse, etc.
Who doesn't think about that sort of stuff. I'm not very materialistic but lets face it.... we ALL like to have nice things. That's what we work so hard for right?

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually at home or I may go for dinner and a walk. I'm not the typical "Party Girl" where I get drunk and just everybody looks- oh so pretty to me. lol
I do like live bands though so I may go to a gig that I know is playing if and when I get the chance.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I burp and I fart... oh yeah... I sweat too! I bet you're surprised. LOL
Oh.. and I talk a lot... especially when I'm nervous.
