My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Care for a mix of gearhead with good-old-boy and many shades of nerdery wrapped in a larger than the average bear-sized package? Then you've come to the right place. Nobody smiles more than when they're around me, and I take pride in that. Now let's see if I can't do the same to you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just recently relocated to thr Boston area for work.

Recently moved to Rochester this spring, more specifically in Henrietta none too far from RIT for a new job in an industry that's relatively new to me. Happy to be around here though there's plenty to do and with some other Clarkson alums around there's always a poker game or trivia night to go to during the week.

Still finding myself in the grey area between the having fun being not super removed from the college years thing and the oh shit real life has just begun so gotta do the full on adult thing. I enjoy both parts of it so it gives me a bit more range of folks I like to spend time with and things I enjoy doing.

Otherwise I'm just looking for more ways to have fun and enjoy myself, though I think it would be a lot better if there was someone special to share with me. As of late I just moved into a new place that I've been stoked about, now if only there would be company there ;-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pouring a beer without much head. Being large. Also finding the humor in whatever situation you'd throw at me. I can improve the mood of pretty much anyone if they're willing to open up to me to a certain degree. I've also been told that I'm a good listener and am always up for conversations about anything and everything, especially in front of a campfire on a summer night. I'm also a fair cook and I love a good game of poker and am overflowing with equal parts motorsport and nerd culture.
The first things people usually notice about me

Yeah probably the larger than the average bear thing. I'm 6'4", so I'm no starvin marvin here and hard to miss, just more to love baby. But beyond that I've been told I have pretty brown eyes which is nice because when it comes to the opposite sex the eyes are always the first thing I notice. Also if someone is within an earshot depending on where I am it might be my voice...years of being the loud asshole at hockey games kind of get that reputation. Got to do just that at RIT last winter so hopefully that chance comes about again sooner than later.

Love Lord of the Rings, the recent surge of comic superhero movies, and all that other nerdy stuff. You could say I dwell in the realm of, car guys, musicians, and all things geeky at once. I dig on italian, chinese, and pretty much anything that can be thrown on a grill. Comes from growing up in spiedie country.

A few notables:
Game of Thrones
The Simpsons (the older stuff when it was gold)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1-My family and friends
2-A vehicle to drive
5-Games (Whether it's a Giants/Rangers/Clarkson game or round of Tetris or an Indy or Cup race or a rip-roaring game of Yahtzee)
6-Companionship (someone who wants to go above and beyond being just a friend)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The day when Nancy Grace will eventually eat her own head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Knockin back some beers with the guys at a campfire or at a bar somewhere for trivia or a band. Depending on the season it would probably be a hockey game or something else to do. Come summer time I'd most likely be at a race somewhere, always been a huge gearhead and spend a lot of time camping at the Watkins Glen track during events there. I'm also cool with just being a bump on a log for the night and watchin a movie or somethin, it all depends on the mood and how much of a pain in the ass mother nature feels like being.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I believe the NY Giants are the one TRUE America's Team.
