I am sassy, energetic, and fabulous.

My Self-Summary

It's always boggled my mind how much I hate summarizing myself. Care to have a conversation? I can talk for hours, but you want me to put it down in writing and I suddenly wonder just what makes up all that is me. So...who am I?

I'm a self-contained ball of energy that likes to bounce from one activity to the next, I fidget when forced to be still w/o something that captures my attention. Luckily this can be fairly easy to do, but I still prefer being on the move. I like to explore my surroundings and see what lies around the next corner.

I find people fascinating, I'm curious about the decisions they make, the values they hold dear, why they do what they do, and to a certain extent who they are. I like sitting in public places and watching people go by and thinking about what makes them who they are.

What I’m doing with my life

Living it. Exploring boundaries, pushing myself forward, constantly growing...

I’m really good at

Charming my way out of a bad situation (or five). I have a talent for getting myself into trouble, I'm not really sure why that is...but luckily I've never actually gotten myself into something I wasn't able to talk my way back out of.

The first things people usually notice about me

Depends, it's usually my hair. Sometimes it's my eyes..

Lately, I've been getting comments about the many facial expressions I use in a 5 minute conversation. I've been told I am an open book of animation. Which is nice, though it may be the root cause of why I hate most pictures of me. I mean it'd make sense, photos require one to hold still.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A) Hmm..., The Twentieth Wife, Clan of the Cave Bear, The Celestine Prophecy, Scarlet Feather (by Joan Grant), anything by Mercedes Lackey, the Kushiel Dart series, Ender's Game, Tom Clancy novels, and I always forget the name of the author for my moral philosophy book from college that I enjoy picking up from time to time. Really any book with a good plotline and strong characters means I'm probaly going to be happy with it.

B) Cruel Intentions, Blade, Grease 2, Cry Baby, The Incredibles, The Departed, Labrynth, Pretty Woman, Pirates of the Carribean any movie that makes me laugh and blows things up...again the list could go on. But one must draw the line somewhere...

C) Music? Eh, depending on who you ask I have no taste. But then most of my friends are into the indie/emo thing and I prefer my music a little more upbeat. The important thing for me is that it moves me and in turn makes me want to move. I'll listen to anything but only some things touch me. If it's going to be more than background noise then the lyrics have to go deeper and touch a place inside of me. Other that that I'm still a sucker for hip-hop and R&B simply because I love going out dancing.

D) Indian food is great, but so is Thai. And I'll never turn down a good steak or anything served with raspberries. Honestly, I love food.

The six things I could never do without

6 things? Really? To be honest, I think the only things I require to be truly happy are my friends and family.

Though, food and water are probably required for the continued living aspect of this question...

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Where I'm going with my life and if I'm happy about the direction it's in. This usually leads into an internal discussion with myself about the merits of joining the circus or running away to be a monkey trainer.

Seriously, those monkeys are awfully tempting on some days...

On a typical Friday night I am

Liable to be anywhere from at home, to a friends, to a bar, to the opera, to the moon. Ok, maybe not the moon but that's not for a lack of trying. I figure if I get the right combination of rocket fuel and banana peels down I'm all set. Oh, and monkeys. Can't forget to bring the monkeys.

Does anyone really have a "typical" friday night?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Will never be something I'll post online. I will however happily discuss all sorts of nifty facts about myself in person.

You should message me if

You've ever found yourself mapping out a plan for world domination. Because I could always use a few more ideas...

Or you're bored. Whichever.
