I have been seperated for almost 3 yrs now and am finally ready to open myself up to new romance...I like dating and love meeting new friends. I am pretty easy to please..not very high maintenance. I love to cook, hate to bake and enjoy going out. I adore going to the movies and listening to live music. I read as much as possible. I love Tim Horton's coffee (hate Starbucks)..prefer the thrift store over the mall...a great day ends with friends and a pitcher of margaritas...I don't sleep much and work long hours...I drink beer out of a bottle, I smoke and really don't like wine (but I think it looks classy) I can talk to anyone about pretty much anything. I am not into politics, but lean toward more liberal ideas and have a mild curiosity towards religion. I love my kids and my family and my dog..but they all drive me crazy at times. I enjoy driving (you can work out a lot of stuff driving the 270 loop at 2am!)...a great vacation is somewhere near water and I absolutely HATE winter. I am a loyal friend and will tell you how I feel when I feel it without regrets.I am a great listener and usually give good advice. I know myself very well and can recognize when my crazy comes out. I have no need for medication to get through each day. I don't have a lot of patience, can be a little selfish at times and am a huge procrastinator. I have a good sense of humor, love to laugh (can be a smart ass) and when I am passionate about something there is no stopping me. :)

I have been working on me for the last couple of years..had some things to straighten out on the inside after a failed marriage. I am learning to take care of myself on my own and making mistakes along the way. But no regrets...

Loving 50 Shades of Grey right now...huge True Blood fan..my favorite food is Mexican (that includes Margaritas!) I love live theater( I catch the local High School shows all the time and enjoy them as much as I do Broadway and the Palace!) and going to the movies, especially midnight first runs. My musical tastes are all over the place from the 60's through present day. But I LOVE 80's rock...hair bands and all! Nothing like a good rock song to get your heart pumping or a rock ballad to sing away the blues! Huge fan of a local cover band These Guys Live and catch their shows on a regular basis. Fav movie of all time is an old John Wayne/ Maureen O'Hara film called The Quiet Man..also a huge John Cusack fan....

tomorrow...I don't dwell on the past, already been there done that...I think about what comes next and how can I make the most out of it for me and my family

If I am not working...I am going out with friends, local bar for drinks, live music, comedy club, movies etc..

to the world I am very confident, but inside I am usually a jumble of butterflies that I hide very well
