My Self-Summary

I am here to test the waters. I have been divorced for 7 years and maybe am ready to take a chance on love one more time. I have done some on-line dating and met some very nice guys but not "the one" for me. It is so much harder than it was in our 20's but I think we are all probably a little smarter than we were then.
I enjoy anything outdoors in the summer ( absolutely hate winter except for "snow days" from school) I love to travel to warm sunny places. Have been on a cruise and completely enjoyed that. I play tennis and golf but am not very good at either.
I also enjoy occasional trips to the local casinos.

What I’m doing with my life

I share my house with my cat and my big screen TV ! ! I am the secretary at a local elementary school. I have been there 17 years and love my job. My 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren, Mom, and sister all live in the KC area so family is a huge part of my life.

My outgoing personality, my smile, and my sense of humor. I am a very positive person ( I do have down days like every one else but try to look at things with a positive attitude) I love to laugh.....I can be very goofy but also hold up my end of an intelligent conversation.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I am a reality show junkie.....I like Survivor, The Apprentice, The Amazing Race, and of course The Bachelor ! ! Hopeless romantic.
I also enjoy watching sports .... love March Madness....big MU and Chiefs fan. ( Will cheer for KU if they are not playing MU) I also enjoy watching poker on TV.
Even with cable, I still enjoy going to the movie theater if it is a movie I really want to see.

If I am not babysitting one of the grandkids....I am probably home on the couch with my cat, a book, or something I have DVR'ed on TV. Friday night is usually my "crash" night after dealing with 420 elementary kids all week.
